I love this song so much, my one remembrance to my grandpa who passed away 11 years ago. His a big fan of Sir Frank Sinatra, while I'm a lil fan of Miss Celine Dion since childhood. Sadly we didn't sing this song together .. But this song will always reminds me of him. 💜
its amazing how sinatra sounds so much better then she has and hes not putting in any effort, while shes putting everything into it and shes not so great. i guess thats what makes sinatra a real legand. hes easily the voice that defines the 20th century
This song will always remind me of my mom, she would drive me to school as a kid & she would play this song & she would sing her part & I would sing his part, I was about 5 or 6 at that time, and it is 2021 & I am 16 now & I finally found this song and played it while I drove my mom to work & we both started crying, I love this song so much it means so much to me.

Without question the best duet ever recorded. Frank has left us but the film clips were sensational. Celine is so beautiful and so is her voice. I’ve played this video for a few woman friends of mine and when Frank appears and starts to sing tears started. They said they were tears of sadness that he’s past on but also tears of joy because of how beautiful it was. Thank God for Frank.

Maybe it's also just the nature of striptease performances and growling standards to be louder than her quiet and deep moving power. She gets a lot more respect than it seems, I'd like to think.
She has turned down a lot of offers over the years because she is on record for having wanted to be with her family more. Thus why she retired at an early age. I was very sad that she did but I can respect her decision. Glad to see her coming back out and singing again because I have always loved her music.
Chills. Celine, world class performer. Her execution on this recording couldn't be more perfect if she tried. And Frank is just...Frank. You can't argue with that voice. I applaud whoever pitched the idea of this duet.
Celine doesn't get the kudos she deserves. Even so, they didn't give her the Icon Award until AFTER Rene passed away. It was LONG overdue! She may not be heavily on the radio, but being a music junky, I can say most of the greatest artists aren't played on the radio often. The industry is more for what the new wave and most popular artists can bring. There are SO MANY great artists who are underground or not played on the radio! Salute to Celine and the rest of them for continuing to give those of us who really appreciated good music GREAT music. :-)

I think you need to learn a little bit more about Frank Sinatra AND CELINE DION. She is a marvelous singer an couldn't get him to sing with her because HE PASSED AWAY SOME TIME AGO!!! I am sure he would have been honored to sing with her. You need to learn to appreciate good music when you hear it!

As a guy who was 16 when Sinatra's original version was a hit I found this very touching .I'm not a huge Celine fan but from what little I've seen of her she could do a great "standards" CD (Cole Porter,George Gershwin,Irving Berlin, etc)

Sinatra's and Dion's colour of voice matches very well, so when they sing parts together, the tune is a kind of symbiosis...and like complementary colours - red/green. I think that's a big part of the magic of this duet!
