Homelander Isn't As Powerful as Everybody Thought

The Boys season two was amazing but unfortunately it’s over now. While we will likely have to wait over a year to see what beautiful carnage season three has waiting for us, that doesn’t mean that we can’t speculate about said carnage until then!
The show is all about Billy Butcher and his gang of superhero hating specialists who beat the ever loving tar out of supes using all sorts of clever gadgets, techniques and black mail. Honestly, it’s like 98% black mail. While these techniques have worked pretty well in the past, they likely won’t be enough for the toughest supe they’ll ever have to face, Homelander.
Homelander is the #1 superhero in the series and for good reason. He’s easily the most powerful with incredible strength, agility and laser vision. This makes him an adversary who is almost impossible to take down. I say almost because we think we’ve figured out how Billy and the boys could take down Homelander for good!
For starters, we have to look at ways to fight Homelander without having to attack that invulnerable skin of his. Then we’ll look through the universe to see which heroes would have the best chance of actually hurting him in a fight. Not that he’s ever actually been in one. Finally, we’ll analyze what weapons are almost certainly already in place for just such an occasion.
So let’s jump right in and explore all the ways the boys could take Homelander down!
