Valentina has won the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song 'J'imagine'. Who won the Contest before her? Find out in this recap. - Read more about the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at junioreurovision.tv
i noticed how the kids act and look more mature by every year that it doesnt even feel like "junior" eurovision. valentinas song is so child friendly and exactly what we need more in jesc!
@@mrPp475 its not her fault, dont say that she is the worst winner. her song was great and she can actually sing for real. she is a child and just does what she is told to do, we should blame the ones responsible for the video and not a child who won the competition with a great song. it is unfair tho, but what can we do..
@@macrowave6256 Of course the fault is from the french television and the EBU. But the comments she made on twitter making fun of the situation and the cheating doesn't put her on a good position. It is a kid contest, and they are showing bad values to them: you can cheat to win and be succesful. The victory is not deserved for what her country's tv has done
@@foxxy8726 Because it was exactly the studio version. The same happens with Russia and Belarus. There are videos around youtube that show proof of it. It is very noticeable at some parts of the songs
Spain 2004, Malta 2015, Georgia 2016 and Poland 2018 are my favourites here. Honourable mention goes to Georgia 2008 for being absolutely insane, but somehow quite enjoyable. (At least for me.)
@@mariamsekania7804 almost all the people think its weird and bad song but i love it cuz they are part of my childhood.georgians are very talanted there is 2 more georgian winners there and georgia 2021 didnt win but its one of my fav geogian songs
let's hope that next year's contest will have at least 18 countries (but my actual dream number of countries is 24 or 26, similar to adult Eurovision's grand final).
I'm not sure but I think I already read somewhere that the highest number of participants accepted by the EBU for the JESC is 20 (45 is the adult contest), but I may be wrong.
@@escfrancemusic2569 I mean, until 2018 I believe the number was 18 but since Israel was offered a slot and then Ukraine managed to join later, the number got ajusted to 20. And we saw that despite having more countries than what the limit offered, JESC2018 was still a hell of a show. So who knows... if more broadcasters are willing to compete in France, we maybe have a chance to see 21 or 22... But 17 countries would already be very good.
@@trambus1144 I didn't know about that. Anyway, I think some countries are very likely to return, like Australia, Portugal, Wales, Ireland, maybe Italy too. But Germany could potentially withdraw, I don't know.
Dino jelusic, possibly best male performance ever. Im tracking still his carrer, he has one of the best vocals on the planet. Hope he sings on eurovision again and wins it. That would be very nice story
2004 MARIA ISABEL 🇪🇸🔥 such an iconic and amazing performance, what a great charisma for such a young girl. It is funny because nobody could overcome her points until 2015, 11 YEARS LATER (and because the voting system changed a lot). Amazing, for sure the best winner from the 00’s decade. And then the best 10’s decade winner for me is a tie between Poland 2019 and Armenia 2010. They were all greaaaat 😍🔥
Jestem dumna z tego, jak świat ma takie talenty. Uwielbiam Eurowizję Junior, bo tak małe dzieci mogą się wykazać wielkim talentem i może spełniać swoje marzenia o wielkiej scenie Thank you all for choosing poland for your favourite, we all so happy for this! Regards Poland❤️🇵🇱
Literally every winner is so good and deserving!!!! My personal favorite is Viki Gabor though ahahah I could listen to that song over and over again 🤍✨
I’m American and knew nothing about this contest until I stumbled upon Maria Isabel’s song when I was kid. Despite only speaking English, it led me to seek out more songs in Spanish and that led me to learning about other languages and cultures.
The kids eurovision has better voices than adult one. Congrats Poland sending great talents. This year Sarah should have won! I was hipnotysed by her song. Wooow
Fact: in ESC 2021 pre recorded backing vocal's voices and singer's recorded voice will allowed, so if a delegation wants to unite live and recorded voice, it will be allowed to do it. EBU used this rule also in JESC. So stop to insult the singers because the main problem in EBU!!
Not only that, but EBU has allowed pre recorded backing vocals in JESC since the start, so people need to do their research before complaining and insulting the singers.
@@racheld8920 the problem is not prerecorded back vocals. The problem is that lead singer's voice was absolutely indistinguishable from backings so there was no point to even open her mouth. It was disrespectful for viewers and other contestants.
But in Adult Eurovision,it needs backup singers cause since 1956,they used it also orchestra but in 1999,no orchestra because waste of money,so,it has recorded instrumental song and backup singers are still there so no lipsync
Destiny: winning junior eurovision in 2015 also destiny: competes in eurovision and becomes sixth people thats what i like to call: achieving something in your life
My favourites are Maria, roksana , viki and valentina Of so many years , valentina's looks so colourful and kid friendly Truly *junior* eurovision, others were good too 🤗
Best of the best : Maria Isabel 2004 😍 Antes Muerta Que Sencilla is sooo Iconic 🌟 2nd best : Anastasia Petryk 2012 Sooo mature for her age, amazing voice ! 2006 : The sisters, so cute and original ! 2009 : Ralf Machenbach Click Clack : entertaining !
00:48 - Zobaczcie zwyciężczynię z 2005 roku. Obecnie taka piosenka by jedynie budziła uśmiech politowania, a wtedy wygrała całą Eurowizję.
I am agree with your prolosition of an interval act of all winners from 2003-2021 for the 20th edition of junior eurovision song contest. It would be so share the joy Hope that Armenia decides to do it
I hope we will have an oppurtunity to see them all again like it was in 2010 but sadly I don't think it's possible :( But nice flashbacks with that video
All winners were great , but my favo are: Spain 2004, Russia (,2006), all Malta winners , Georgia all winners( The buzzing kids were really musical) , Ukraine, and France!
