Excellent! I don’t often come across this very early stuff, I’m loving it and picking out things that I had not noticed before, plus the guys are adorable!
I have just started listening to all time low a few days ago, and Im so happy i have. They have incredible voices, and i totally have a huge crush on alex :') Theyre all so great and likeable, i think im gonna really love them
Time codes...🤔🤒 Intro (until 00:19) The Reckless And The Brave (until 03:30) For Baltimore (until 07:11) Somewhere In Neverland (until 11:27) Weightless (until 14:52) Dear Maria, Count Me In (until 18:07) Interview (until the end of the video)
Why would you put the _until_ times instead of the _start_ times though - now you have to awkwardly pick the one before to jump to a song. Just a tip for the future
Alex Gaskarth's professionally recorded live vocals have been one of my very favorite things to listen to ever since I first heard them. Thank you so much for uploading this!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I don't know what r you people complaining about, they sounds amazing than ever, personally I think the change in Alex's voice is super beautiful,Plus I don't know y people can't accept that bands can't sound the same in every record/song,people change, and it's ok to change-especially when the change is for good(fucking loved don't panic) don't forget-it's not like "old ATL"are gone, it's still in RU-vid, go listen to this instead of wasting your time listening to something you don't like =,=
The 3rd guitarist is Matt Kolousy and the backing Vocals is Matt Flyzik, they've been tour managers of all time low for a few years now, they were even doing it when they released their Straight to Dvd :)
I haven't had the privilege of being in the fanbase for almost 10 years like most fans...but i have been a fan since the age of 9, when my older brother was listening to them. I can honestly say that in the 5 years i have been in the fanbase....they have come so far and i really hope that they never quit music, they are amazing :) sorry for my paragrapgh....:/ :D
THE FUCKING AUTOTUNE MAKES HIS VOICE SOUND WORSE! How could Walmart dare autotune such a beautiful voice such as Alex Gaskarth's? This is another reason Walmart fucking sucks
The most important thing Jack does is to joke around with Alex when they are playing shows. It's fun watching them, they are pushing eachother to do or say very funny stuff.
Wtf Wal-Mart alex doesn't need auto tune his voice is already perfect and what did u do to my jack that is not jack the real jack is so happy and jumping around
There's probably a chain or something around his foot so that when he moves/jumps he gets a shock. He's enslaved just like everyone else who's associated with Walmart. And Rian isn't really that energetic either.
Got it in one man. Zack sings the harmonies which are lower than what Alex is singing, and Matt sings the stuff which is higher (as well as some other small lead parts)
Nah, this is more autotuned than the albums. At least on albums you can still hear the growly quality that Alex's voice has. On this, it's all smoothed over. Like, you can tell it's there, but it's all drowned out.
it really is autotune haha not to burst your bubble :) my friend who is a press who frequently works with them was there for the filming and editing of this on a photo pass. Alex had a really off day (which rarely happens) but they just put it on just enough to bring it back up to his full potential.
I hate the fact they call it a Walmart "soundcheck". It's not a sound check if you just friggin' auto tune the crap out of them! They don't need auto tune what so ever! A sound check is when they make sure that the vocals and instruments sound great and that they know what they are singing during their set/concert, not to be auto tuned so much it doesn't even sound like them! :(
I know Matt is in the back doing back up vocals/harmonies but when Alex is singing flat the pitch correction kicks in because he went out of key and at 4:17 it's very clear that it's only Alex singing. If you really listen you can hear the difference between pitch correction and vocal harmonies.
Well it is not always about how your role in the band is or whatever. The important thing is you make the song good to hear by the other people even if it takes 10 or 20 guitarist at least you make good music.
@Mikey - Of course. But, you have to consider all fans may have different angles from where they listen to different parts of their favorite tunes, that's what I'm sayin. Someone asked why theres a 3rd guitarist and a 3rd vocalist. I know how songs are musically composed so I gave my answer. If you're a fan who doesn't play an instrument, your approach is completely 100% on point. I sing and play guitar and bass so I'm bound to elaborate more. I know they make good music.
Read through the comments... autotune? Are you breaking kidding me there is no autotune... if you think that you are an idiot. Love All Time Low and this! They are fucking amazing!! End of! Go see them live... your mind will be changed ♥
There is no autotune... Alex's voice would sound flawless if there was, and (not that his voice is not flawless) there's times when his voice gets rough and gravelly at the ends and starts of lines and auto tune would eliminate that. It's just Matt and Zach's harmonies...
I I think Flyzik is just singing the background part that Alex would sing on the album since it's supposed to sound like a studio/album version but it's also live at the same time so they can't like record Alex singing two different parts which I'm assuming is what they would usually do for the studio/album version but I also feel like they kind of over did it with it but that's just me.
I'm torn with watching this. The video production is awesome and totally speaks to me with my interest in video production but the auto tune is just so intense and needs to be reduced if not taken out completely.
that is not auto tune, auto tune is not always making a voice better it is changing the voice to sound different more computerized but not "better" per say. and the backing vocals and guitarist are their friends
Ive seen them twice now and i completely agree. Jack really doesnt handle the solos at all actually alex does more than he does but jack is still a key role in the band and im sure he could easily take the solos if he needed to
I've seen like a few dozen videos of All Time Low performing live but I finally saw them perform live at the Vans Warped tour last year. It appears they always have an extra guitarist and vocalist. Dont know why they need a 3rd vocalist cuz most harmonies are only 2 parts but for guitar its cuz many of their songs require 2 rhythm parts and one lead which the 3rd guy does. Jack isn't much of a lead guitarist in actuality even if its his official role in the band. Sorry Jack fans but its true.
You guys have to understand that any professional recording has some kind of pitch correction in it, as well as adding possible filters or EQ to the vocals and instruments. It's not like it's anything new.
Do you people honestly think that in all the All Time Low that Alex doesn't have any pitch correction on his voice? You'd be wrong. Every single artist that distributes records on a scale such as ATL gets their vocals pitch corrected through a program called Autotune. It's how the industry works. The only difference is that this is a live performance run through Autotune in post-production; it's not in a controlled studio environment. That's why Alex sounds much better on the records than on this: because while his voice is still pitch corrected it's been recorded several times and the best one picked. Whereas this, it was all live and one-shot only thing. And look at where they're playing, it's not an acoustically sound environment. Good performance nonetheless
