Kat Rad ... I'm honestly so thankful for that. I am CONVINCED that is why (one of the reasons) ATL has lasted this long versus other good bands of the past like Boys Like Girls and Paramore. Alex and Jack get a lot of attention but the band keeps it real by never hiding how integral Zack and Rian are. They're not just a band; they are best friends and brothers. Other bands start having to deal with jealousy over the lead getting all the attention and their bond weakens. It's actually pretty amazing that ATL is still going strong when so many of their pop-punk counterparts fell apart.

I like this song because it strikes me as very genuine. Alex has talked about how this album is about his inner demons and is very personal to him. We all know how much this band is into the party life. This song is about regretting that and, to an extent, wanting to get away from it. That's something I actually see Alex struggling with. See, genuine.

Matthew Womble I absolutely love his performance in this song, both in the video and the singing because it doesn't just feel genuine, it also looks and sounds that way :) It may not be their old genre, but they are stepping up their game in the music industry and I am actually pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see what's next up their sleeves :D

What I like about ATL is how their lyrics always reflect something, and are a lot deeper than a lot of music nowadays. I think their sound is like the whole 'too pop for rock, too rock for pop' saying, but I like the fact that even if they're changing their sound, the lyrics are still meaningful

I am a lover off all ATL new and old. I have never grown tired of their sound. I have never thought they were taking their music into a wrong direction. Every single thing they do works. So.... What do you think of Wake Up Sunshine? I and many other fans love how it’s got elements of old ATL. They even did some new stuff on there too like on the song “Trouble is” which is in 6/4 and 7/4 time instead of 4/4. Also you’re incorrect when you said nothing has changed. LYR is more of a pop album than a rock album, a first for ATL. Wake Up Sunshine has course corrected back to rock.

I hope this song becomes a radio single in the U.S.! I don't care what people say: I want ATL to thrive and have huge success. Music fans are the worst in that they always seem to want to keep their faves from achieving mega-success. When you like an author, do you want them to only sell 50,000 books? Or become the next J.K. Rowling? Come on. Every (or almost all) artists dream of making it BIG. All Time Low deserve a big mainstream radio hit because they've been working their asses off to make music for over a decade now. Can't believe how petty and mean-spirited some "fans" can be by wanting to block their faves from big success.

Frankly, I was really excited about this album the whole "Last Young Renegades " and the fucking Album art got me pumped the fuck up. I won't say I'm disappointed because I'm not. I dont have the right to be disappointed in these boys who are doing something they want with something that they created. I'll still love them to pieces and Jesus fuck can we talk about Jack in this video ? Q-Fucking-T. anyways, beside the point. I dont know if I'll listen to them anymore but I'll always have mad respect for them. and so should you. dont hate on their new shit just cause you dont like it. thats bullshit. if this group is Happy with the sounds they're making and releasing, I'm proud of them. go them. 💕 I'll always be a fan at heart.

He's a token for ATL. They've ruined whatever credibility they had with this band. You might say "oh but let them change their sound", but I don't think we told them to change their genre. How pathetic. I feel bad for their older fans that enjoyed the actual punk in their music, and aren't saying "I RESPECT THEIR CHANGES Y'ALL ARE FAKE!!1!1!!" just not to get attacked. :/

Superior Beast but, they don't just make music for the fans, they need to make it for themselves as well. you said that 'we didn't tell them to change' But what we say isn't the last word, they make the music and the older fans that preferred their punk sound (which is ok) can listen to their older music instead. we need to give them room to be more creative however, instead of forcing them into one genre because it's what they have always done.

i was in the car with my brother yesterday and he started playing this song with his volume and bass all the way up. the car was practically shaking and we were just strolling down the interstate with windows down. hearing this song brings back that moment and how my brother and i really bonded over this band. so thank you atl for giving me something to have a connection with my brother and a feeling i will never forget when i was in his car. we really felt like the life of the party ❤

Who cares if their style changes? They should be able to make the music they want to make without fans stuck in the past to be upset about it. It's called progression, and that's great. Fair enough, you don't have to like the song, that's your opinion, but you shouldn't be rude to the band suggesting ridiculous things like "they are doing it for the money". Stay positive, your negativity isn't going to change anything :)

I'm a huge fan of all time low and I've stuck by all there changes and they've always had good music regardless if its rock or pop. if you love this band you should love them for what they are, people need to stop expecting and think they have right to hear music that was made 5 or 10 years ago. they've changed and there allowed to change people can't accept that. its annoying.

its not a terrible song but compartive to what the band is capable of isnt even what im gonna say. I love that they each have their own thing they do. Alex has the leg thing, Jack leans his body into the guitar, Zack holds the neck of the bass up too high and Rian makes faces. It just adds little things to their performances.
