In fact, each openings shows each personality of Kaneki, its difficult periods of his life such as Munou Who demonstrates well the new personality of Kaneki who I think the saddest opening of Tokyo ghoul X)

Unravel-Song of giving up his true self and surrendering into darkness Munou-Song of kaneki being suffocated from darkness and forgeting his self Asphyxia-Song of a new born kaneki giving up the darkness inside of him forgeting his self who he really was Katharsis-Song of a rebirth and new born kaneki who has control over his kagune and a good personality

Im so sad the series is actually over i will forever remember the best anime in my life!

I love how the song always seems to relate to the version of Kaneki The first one demonstrates how torn he is between ghoul and human The second has a sad feel to it, probably to show what Kaneki has become and all that The third one is definitely meant to fit Hiase Sasaki with how upbeat it is And the fourth one demonstrates how Kaneki is trying to unite the ghouls and the humans, much like his old self wanted the same thing. They even brought back the same artist, I think, to portray this!

The fact that the original Tokyo ghoul was made around the 2012 or 16 is timeline and I actaully remember watching it but then RE WATCHING IT AND THEM CONTINUING IT HAS ME IN LOVVEEEE I RE WATCHED IT AT THE RIGHT TIMEEE

i watched this anime last year and im getting so sad listening to the soundtrack. i think its because of all the morals i learnt from it. literally kaneki's mental state and the lessons he learnt has helped me a lot and this is definitely one of my favourite animes. i can relate to kaneki in several ways, tho not as intense as his scenario but diluted. its been months since i listened to these songs and im so glad i decided to listen :']

Remember listening to Aspphyxia in 2018 i belive, 14, overweight, feels like yesterday i was waiting for new episodes to come out. Now im a professional PowerLifter and BodyBuilder. lot has happened since then but this will always remaing one of the most amazing openings to me, same with Katharsis more than unravel, and some mangas but the words and sounds mean more than just images and story. Touches me.
