All Ultraman Transformations (1966-2016) 

Ah yes my childhood... I never realized until now that once in my life idolizing a kinky space man in spandex suit as a superhero

All those decades, all those technical advancements...yet the original 1966 is still the best.

Funny how it was so impressive back then, and today we can do this with 10 dollars and 30 minutes of After Effects

2004 is the most badass model ever... i miss that dark gray colour so much 😭

I just like the trio of Tiga, Dyna & Gaia.

I remember watching this show as a kid in the 60's. I can't believe there are versions of it still running on TV.

Man we lived in such simpler time when these were shown in TV it was something else to watch and used to run around the street holding one hand up. Now even Marvel moviesgraphics dont impress me or the kids so sad

The reality is......this show may have been put together with obvious costumes and toy like background and special effects.....but through the eyes of a child back then.....THIS SHOW WAS THE BOMB!!!! Every kid in America was hooked on this super space hero!!! Lol.....I still have the DVD collection! It’s definitely a classic!!!

I'm 56 years old and there's nothing like the original. But I'm glad he's still around in some form

What's interesting is that most are remarkably simple. Usually, to build excitement, transformation sequences are long and bombastic.

Seeing this now, decades later, I see how a superhero is built and admired. I love all these Japanese icons, wow!

All the Ultraman series after the first one (1966) are new to me. I saw it in reruns when I was a kid in the early 70's. Didn't even know they were still making Ultraman until just a few years ago.

I remember watching Ultraman Tiga back when I was a kid

The first is still the best. The simple Beta Capsule just worked. The adjustments/improvements to the costume didn't really improve it. For me, the Beta Capsule equaled Donald Blake's cane that transformed him to Thor.

the best Ultraman for me was 1971.. obviously this transformation was still loved during '80 years when I watched it.. my childhood, my hero❤

Little did I know there was THREE Ultramen in Ultraman Mebius. And all of them was members of CREW GUYS JAPAN (Hibino Mirai a.k.a Mebius, Captain/Chief Inspector Sakomizu a.k.a Zoffy, and Former Captain Serizawa a.k.a Hikari/Tsurugi). WOOOOOW

I remembered how scared I was in one episode wherein some of them were trapped and turned into stone, and Ultraman Father needed to save them..

I had an Ultraman tape as a kid and I always thought it was an American production that was a full length feature. Apparently it was Japanese and several episodes back to back. I've been trying to find them on here but can't and it's so annoying. I recall two scenes - one where there's some sort of base with an entrance through a cliff overlooking an ocean. The other is a small amusement park (ferris wheel?) in a city where some monsters spawn. Anyone have ANY ideas?
