Fnatic lock//in was a sad one... They got their first win but to see crowds leaving even before lifting the trophy and had an interview after, in basically empty arena at that point ... Probably the worst LAN vct had imo
There's an international league where teams plays against other teams in their region. The best teams in each region goes to masters, which host anywhere from 8-12 teams. Usually 1 or 2 masters a year. Champions is same thing but with 16 teams. Champions is basically the superbowl of valorant. The big event of the year, with it own new release song each year, and a skin bundle to go with it. There's also one-off tournaments like lock-in to starts off a year
@@bluezboi2504 Ngl Riot could had came up with a different name for that Masters Tournament. Like, first the teams play against their region to decide the winner then they go up against the winners of different region and all of that fall under the same name "Masters" ?
@@bluezboi2504 but the most important thing is competition in a tournament tho and it just feels like the competition is same in every single tournament. the extra few LCQ teams in champs just shit the bed like 99% of the time if look at the past champs results. so theres no much difference masters and champions
@@uresfffff222 did i ever mention about seeding? i am saying about the competition here, no matter how high seeds u get u can still lose in grand finals even tho u have 2 map ban advantages. we have seen teams fail with it (PRX and now Geng). competiton is same in masters and champs and its clearly visible
L in Brazil has a different meaning than outside of Brazil which stands for loser, L in Brazil is trend that started when Loud wins "Do the L" it is an act of representation which justifies using 3 Ls as their abbreviation
lock-in can also be considered as a masters because single elims are just harder than double elims for teams to reach grand final or to just stay in the tournament. so i would say the whole of fnatic is a 2 time winner too. considering the grand final was the most intense too
@@er3n_genes1s21nah the tourney wasn't the same. it not a masters if it doesn't have it in the name. by that logic like kickoff can be considered a masters as well.
Sacy only has one masters since the other was for Champs. He's the only one that has a Masters and a Champs trophy. If LOCK/IN doesn't count as a masters then Chronicle and Tenz are the only two to have two Masters on their belt but Chronicle is still the only player to have 3 international wins in valorant.
