This was such a good message! My father used to say that one of the effects that proved to be detrimental to Blacks was integration...at least too quickly, as you have stated some sociologists believe. Black owned businesses like hotels, banks, gas stations, grocery stores, etc. suffered because we rushed to support white businesses thinking that they were "better".

I have heard my Pastor and other pastors talk about what's going on with people criticizing the church, particularly criticism of church leadership. People are condemning others based on allegations. But, as you have said, it's big business. I also heard a relationship expert address criticisms being dished out against Black men. He noted that no other race has podcasters belittling their men. And one of the saddest parts is that many of these so called 'experts' are single people offering advice about marriage! There is something toxic about our community, and part of it is about making money. Thank you for speaking about these important topics, Bishop Younger!!!
