fun fact: the reson the Lines sound so forced is because they are, the playtesters got said the catching was to simuler to the point they dident want to go thru the Catching cutscene so Skylanders quickly has the actors record random lines
Fixed sentence; The reason the dialogue sounds so forced is because it is. The playtesters said their reactions to being trapped were too similar to the point they didn't want to go through the same cutscene every time so Activision had the actors record random lines.
It's actually an amazing detail that when you trap Luminous, Nightshade, Kaos or one of the Doom Raiders, the vortex doesn't have a light in the middle.
I think the reason for it is because all the “small” villains use a similar trap sequence, with the vortex appearing in the top right, therefore only needing a colour change. But the “big” villains have more cinematic trap sequences, so there is probably an alternative model that is bigger or something. They might have forgotten to put the light on the bigger model.
I still come back to this game every once in a while. It’s always fun spicing up the difficulty against the final chapter and horribly watching a slaughterfest of my Skylanders.
@chad chase then swap force had kaos' mom be in between the portals. trap team had kaos seeing us being aware of us, shaking the controller then tried to pull us into skylands. In superchargers, it happened twice: Kaiser referring to us in the beginning of the gane attempting to lock us out of skylands. Then Sharpfin accidentally did so saying the last game instead of the last adventure.

Mab Lobs seems to be the only Mabu villain you can trap. At first I thought he was in the actual story of the game, but after seeing the mirror of mystery, I learned he was from a mirror universe.
How to voice a villian capture sequence : 1 : make thunder sounds 2 : voice the person whos getting trapped 3 : make a whirling weeeeorl sound that gets higher 4 : when the person is in the vortex cover your mouth while talking You might need flipaclip to do this

The best part is that all the Doom Raiders get their own custom animation instead of just using the same recoloured portal and slapping the model for the villain over it
0:13 the thing I like here is that The Gulper was all like “haha you cannot hurt me swirly thing” but when his trident gets sucked into the vortex he’s like “I better get outta here”
I suddenly remembered this game. It’s been 6-7 years. I can’t believe it, it didn’t feel like that. This game was my childhood, after school I would get on my Xbox 360 and play this or Lego Movie the Game
All those villains from the Skylanders Trap Team series being sucked up by a vortex and everyone is trapped before, honestly that was kinda funny and hilarious.

I like how most of them just accepted there fate, but poor painyata, he ate to much candy, and the fact they broke the 4th wall with “I shall enjoy my capture sequence with dignity!” And nooooo poor chompys
I used to own about 15 sky landers and just a bunch of traps (I consistently annoyed my parents for more) unfortunately I gave them away to a friend of my younger brother. Their still good friends and he might still have them but if I want to replay this game I have to use the 2 they give you for free.
