4:46 ..I remember the first time Ash released and everybody who was the champion and was using Ash, would spam that line over and over again- to make it sound like ..well you know.
i remember having a gibby and mirage as my first ever teamate in the first 7 minutes of my very first game back in season 7 and i went, man that mirage and gibby guy, their so funny and i absolutely love their voices
Normally when I hear talk of inclusion and representation it feels so watered down or disingenuous, being mixed race and having Lgbtq family and friends, I can tell when a franchise or company is shamelessly pandering to me or to people from backgrounds that I’m connected with. But Apex is different, presenting diversity effectively and uniquely without ironically alienating anyone! every character feels like they were well thought out by skilled writers respectfully with zero low brow stereotypes, they never feel out of touch or patronizing. The Personalities are interesting because the people who actually bring them to life are truly investing themselves, artists have created beautiful representations of humanity and capture the essences of people they tribute with authenticity, voice actors are given the opportunity to represent themselves and the people they love making their performances more meaningful, it adds so much more depth to the experience. It’s not “SJW” cringe trying to virtue signal me into giving it my money like what Battlefield 5 did for example, it’s a labor of the love for *People* , they genuinely wanted to create a fun game that literally anyone could play and feel welcomed, the game feels like what America felt like to me as a kid or at least what it was supposed to be, a melting pot where EVERYONE has a voice, a place where anyone can be friends, bond over what we have in common and even admire the traits that make someone different like their accent or style. I’m not naive saying much of it at the very top wasn’t intentional to make some of that All Mighty Moneys, I know shareholders and execs don’t care about really anybody, I’m saying that the studio and the real people putting their blood sweat and tears into this have done something special, I hope they make ALL the dollars for giving so many of us a tremendously fun game that we can all see a little bit of ourselves in.
All the characters except bloodhound are over the top obnoxiously cheesy and cringe. There’s no backstory or sincerity to this game or its legends. Atleast Titanfall felt that there were stakes involved within the story and it’s characters..Apex’s personality is shallow af, just a bunch of random one liners.
The fact that Anjali Bhimani makes as voice actress for Rampart and Symmetra makes it a little funny, like, they are Order and Chaos, Ying and Yang, white and you get the drill...
3:25 This is the best way to say what strong girl character should be in every game or movies. But a lot of the producers is always making stereotype character and dumb down to just "look like boys" instead of giving them inteligents, agility, cool tactics, or strategy and suitable weaponry and still include feminine side of the character.
Anjali voiced Symmetry in OverWatch. I recognized her accent right away. That's why I always play with English voice acting, even though my native language is Russian. very well-developed voice acting, a lot of different accents and it's cool. Well done
Mainnn i'm so infected by Apex.. I swear i would be convinced u stole them legends voices! U thievesssss! Love this video guys!❤ U bttr not rumb with me😅
this is a small reason why i prefer apex over fortnite, it actually feels like your there, and it’s just not goku doing the floss in the most lifeless way possible
