So which quest is your favourite? I compiled Entire 10 years of Warframe Development since Beta and upscaled to 4K here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-olFH_YTn37g.html
The Jade Shadows quest had me in tears, litteraly Especially when she gave birth and the moment we hear the baby cries as Sorren parries around 3000 bullets per second (except 2 lmao, good score overall)
🤣🤣 but seriously jade shadows took it to next level in terms of engagement. Like previous quest has sad moments but it didn't hit us hard like this one
Still get chills from The Second Dream. How could an obscure FTP looter Shooter from 2013 have this level of lore? I remember seeing the operator descend, thinking, "wtf is that?" Then seeing my warframe drop "dead" with little to no warning, I thought "Oh shit... is that... me?"
I stopped playing WF around Fortuna because I wanted the New War and they kept shipping open world stuff. I was so blown away by the second dream I HAD to have more. Now I get to come back after a few years and experience all this proper. WF is a hell of a game
@@klawschafer7425 yeah the delays from The New War and COVID screwed up their whole release schedule, then as soon as it looked like they were back on track they decided to finally release The Duviri Paradox which ended up getting split into like three updates and seemingly set their whole release schedule back about a year.
I don’t know what it is about the Warframe sound team but over the past eight years they’ve just nailed every single quest music. Best sound crew in gaming for me
I genuinely fell apart at the sight of jade dying and stalker left taking care of their child alone. It hurt me and iv never wanted to comfort an enemy real life or game but holy fuck i wanted to hug stalker
Stalker’s lore never really made him a villain. Just a lost soul, who was manipulated. Jade Shadows now makes him a sorta Anti-Hero which are always fan favorites
Jade was more relatable as humans. While other quests were only emotional if you were fully immersed in that situation and characters, which is quite hard to feel in game like warframe since quests are quite short to build any impactful emotional moment.
@@GRIMHOOD99yeah, the corpus may be ambitious but most of them have values, parvos is a greedy SOB but he decries slavery, veso-r fought to the last breath.
I guess either DE forgot about sun/neutral/moon alignment choices or just let the writer cooking something out from the archives. Oh and one more thing that DE ripped away the sense of dread during chains of harrow because of the new ship tile, it's brighter than the previous tile, darker and lonely.
the "to take away its pain" scene is probably my favourite scene in the whole game. favourite quest goes to jade shadows. objectively best quest goes to the new war
my favorite ones are the new war, the entrati quest, and jade shadows. they all pull so hard at my weakest strings. i love how they emphasize grieving over someone you love, or even yourself yet still having no choice but to further exist. the new war, at surface level, creates emotional tension with the lotus. the ending where she breaks free of ballas's control and stands her ground to defend us despite being at her weakest. We are reunited with who we consider as our mother, yet we are given the chance to choose for change, or to stay the same. whichever it is, the lotus will never be the same again. the entrati quest obviously puts entrati and loid's romantic yet hierchal relationship in the spotlight. albrecht sacrifices his presence and put himself in a new territory just to keep loid safe. we later then have loid's yearning, coping that long time feeling with a sort of resentment towards him. in the end, its obvious he still feels very strongly about entrati as if nothing changed. if thats not true love then i dont know what is. and of course we have jade shadows, the stalker finds grief within the road between life and death. we may not see much of his backstory as an executioner or other trivial things, but this quest shows enough for what he's suppoded to tribute-provint everything we thought of him incorrect. this seeming embodiment of every negative feeling, this shadow, just has lost his light. now he has to carry the torch she left behind for the sake of both himself and his late Jade
That's actually the only choise i regret about Lotus - I picked Margulis because i'm staying true to having "Dark Karma", yet i never understood why it is not the visa versa. Only much more later it made sense. Natah is "Light Karma" because it is a rational thing to do, to stay true to your nature, to show that you're not afraid of showing your "sentient" nature, and so other shouldn't be afraid. While Margulis is Dark because it's emotional, you forsake your true self to give others comfort in grief, even if it is ultimately a lie and real Margulis is long gone...
I'm a Japanese Tenno, and I especially like the "Sacrifice" quest. It's a story that gets to the truth about the Warframe, which is also the title of this game, and the recovery from tragedy gives me goosebumps.
Yea in my first play through I wasn't paying much attention since I quickly wanted to try umbra. When I played it second time, it was mind blowing. It holds a very vital part of the lore - what is a warframe
Feel like Sacrifice, WOTW, and Jade Shadows are Excalibur-themed quests if one doesn’t count Stalker as an Excalibur even though he doesn’t have abilities as Excalibur
lotus was executed in the old war i think natah is our lotus all along this is just a shapeshifted natah (hunhows daughter) thats why we can choose how will she look like
balas maybe loved her or he was trying to use her either way if they ever gonna add balas boss which i can farm i will do a 24 hours straight to put him through the same suffering he put the humans and tenno through
I still remember the goosebumps I got when the man in the wall appeared 29:18. I had been playing video games since I was 6 and this moment is a top 10 moment in my time playing games for sure.
The only time I cried at in Warframe is when I knew I couldn’t shake hands with my converted lich Jidd Vakk ..and when Teshin’s head got crunched He hammers enemies in their reproductive organs :)
The Second Dream: Funnily enough, the one quest that got me hooked into WF in 2017. Seeing the reveal of who controls those frames made my jaw drop, almost falling to the floor. These are the same emotions I still see from new players. It never gets old seeing their reactions. Had a bud who went through all of it, and seeing their 3D vtuber model jaw drop gave me a smile on my face. The Man in the Wall: Rap. Tap. T A P. Besides the shadows moving around in the dark, there wasn’t much packin. Just get the Harrow BP and that’s it. The Sacrifice: To this day, that song gets me teary-eyed. The Yin, frames once mortal trapped in the torment they experienced, and the Yang, Tenno whose minds enraptured and mentally shaken by the Void and its entities of cosmic horror. Both need each other, for one is not whole without the other. Hence, Yin and Yang. A beautiful symbiotic relationship. In the end, both Tenno and Warframe stand on their own two feet. To face any storm together. I chose Acceptance, as it fits…well me in a way. For to accept and recognize the negatives and move beyond them, can be a first step to heal; to find your self-worth and not let human nature take over so easily. New War: This one was quite a mind trip. To see time paradoxes spun around like that was kind of a headache to figure out. But once things clicked, it was kind of mind blowing. Like I was playing Ocarina of Time except both the adult and child of the same person meet personally. Again, what a trip. Duviri Paradox: All of this made by one Tenno whose only comfort was a book portraying the Orokin Empire like a feudal kingdom, when all hell broke loose on the Zariman. Ain’t kidding when Tenno’s trauma can be turned into reality. Welcome to the Warp kiddos!
Warframe story is interesting to me because it doesn't spoon feed you and makes you think. Like you will find so many point of views of warframe story. I mentioned that in one of videos but ofcourse some don't like such things and hate it. Then again it sucks to be them cuz I'm enjoying the hell out of this game
Im sorry how do warframes have children and since when does the death of a warframe end in the death of the Tenno. She should still be alive in the resuvar waiting for a new warframe.
40:52 people like you doing stuff like this is why the Warframe devs had to put out a notice telling people not to spoil the jade shadows quest and to let people play it on there own lol
Should have rerecorded the Second Dream cutscene in the beginning. Looks super weird when the Stalker stabs nothingness and the sword moves on it's own. The whole Warframe is missing 😅
I have to say this, but the idea of the operator and Drifter is the same as how I customized my Drifter and Operator. I made my operator colors red, yellow, and silver while I made my Drifter colors blue, purple, and gold. 😂😂
My question is who did he manage to get Umbra in The Second Dream Quest before doing the Sacrifice Quest… like you can’t trade Umbra… as far as I know…
I forgot to mention that in this video, previous vid was about all stalker related cutscenes. There I mentioned so probably thought I did the same here. 😅
