I’m kinda surprised they moved on to something more than the AK47. I haven’t seen them do that since Advanced Warfare and Ghosts where they had the AK12.
@@MouldyCheez yep, they used the 74-M and the 103, I wish we could see other variants like 101, 104, etc. (even tho you could argue that the short barreled 103 is a 104, and the short barreled 74-M is a 105)
Thank goodness the gunsmith isn't as convoluted as MWII or MWIII. Also interesting to see the AK-74 being convertible to an AKS-74u alongside some conversions. Though I'll admit they made a mistake with the rear sights of the Colt 723 (XM4) - the 90s optics shouldn't remove the carry handle. BF2042 Portal is one good example of a 90s optic mount on an AR-15.
Here all the weapons attachments. On the Open Beta, there will be more 2 weapons, that I will cover them!! Consider to drop a LIKE on the video, if you enjoy the content 👍Thanks for watching.👀Have a nice day!😎
Thank goodness they bring back the name AK in the game and not the fictional Kastov in addition this is the first time that AK-74 was first used in Call of Duty Game and no, not the AKS-74U as in the legit AK-74 which you can also customize it as AK-74M as well.
I can actually build a proper M4A1 with carry handle, and even make a full-auto M16A3 with these attachments. Heck some of the optics dont remove the front sight, which is a bonus for me
The SG 550 default holding 30 in a 20-rounder is sadly off, but yeah, otherwise they did great with this. Even the "made up" 25-rounders for various things are the correct length and still visually based on real designs (like the old-style straight MP5 mag).
Yeah, within the context of "near future, all the prototypes" being a staple element of BO games, and this really being a '90s game in the broad sense (rather than specifically the campaign year) nearly everything here fits rather well.
3:53 The Target Laser is based on the AN/PAQ-4C which was made during the early 1990's which is accurate however it also is a bit reminiscent of the AN/PEQ-2 which was its successor and was used in the 2000's so I think it a hybrid between the both lasers and is anachronistic and I also noticed it says that it has a green beam which is also anachronistic since these both lasers had red beams and green beams weren't even introduced until the 2010's.
I don't know how to feel about attachments having close to zero drawbacks to them, it made sense back with the pick 10 system, but now it feels truly unbalanced against people using unmodified weapons
Hmmmm, i wonder if for the short barrel makarov if it turns into the internally suppressed version if you attached a suppressor to it. It looks like it would, this is pretty cool
Yeah, that one barrel definitely looks to be "half" of the PB. I'd bet anything the suppressor changes its appearance to complete the look with this, much like how the M16 barrel and M203 together give the classic heatshield.
You could build the Type 89 using the short barrel and heavy stock, you can also build the original Armalite AR-18 using the Gain-Twist barrel and Combat stock on the Ames-85.
No usable bipods? Really? Also, the lack of SVDS folding stock on SVD is also really dissapointing (and the "balanced stock" looks really weird). At least we can do silenced PB pistol out of PM again.
it's especially infuriating cause the base model literally has the M16A1/M16A2/CAR-15 style fixed carry handle. like, if you're going to set the game in the mid 90s, why not model the AR after like Black Hawk Down or something?
Moreso with this configuration: LR 7.62 - Long Barrel (Required) - Lightweight Handguard (Required) - Extended Magazine I (From 5 to 7, Required) - Commando Grip (Required) - Combat Stock (Required) Also, it's not the Mini Hecate. That is still a .338LM Hecate. This is a Ultima Ratio Hecate, the Latin translating to "Last Resort". Who's to say that down the line, there won't be a LR II .50BMG alongside simultaneously released packs with blueprints for the LR II .50BMG and respective NCR Ranger Veteran and Shino "Sinon" Asada operators. It's the 90s; Anime made it big in the 90s, and so did Fallout.
@@martinmethod427 Yep, they most definitely included Hécate II parts as some of the attachments, especially that stock, wood grip, and 7-round mag. Fingers crossed we get a Glock 18 to pair with it!
My main issue with this game is that... There are very few cons and drawbacks on attachments. Like bro, ain't it gonna cause more balancing problems? In previous game you at least had to make choice. Do I want it to be short and mobile or do I want it on long ranges? Or do I want to make it more universal? In this game it feels like you're just making the gun a better version of itself with long range and fast ADS. But I am still buying it once it's out. I'm Max Payne'ing your asses out there!
Place your bets here on how long it'll take for them to throw out the games aesthetic and tone. I place my bet on season 1 they add somthing out of Black opps 3 and give up on authenticity.
I'd give it less than a year before NCR Ranger Veterans and Shino "Sinon" Asadas with LR 7.62s, and Asuka Langelys with XM4s are out and about. First time I'd seriously think of getting COD Points, though... and 2019's Casanova (Basically P-Chan) already almost made that happen.
Soooo many useful attachments for builds, and the models (and animations) all look fantastic! I'm going to spend way too much time in gunsmith, probably even more so than MW19/II. :D
Picatinny rails didn't exist in that era. I also haven't seen such modifications even in mid 90's. Historically inaccurate game. I wont give a penny for this game.
It existed it just wasn’t common. And it’s a game about a fake event in a historical context. Like most black ops games have been. The goal is to have a fun and cool game. Not historical accuracy. Don’t get me wrong I like historically accurate stuff but cod is not the place to look for that stuff. That’s like watching inglorious basterds and then calling it bad because it wasn’t historically accurate.
