I always put a large tarp under my tents. I believe that helps keep the bottom of the tent clean and since it is big it provides a clean space for the porch (in case of rain and mud conditions). That is a beautiful tent.
Exactly, plus my OCD would blow through the roof of the tent. I want the inside of my tent to be clean, comfy and cozy, especially if out in the rain. I love to see those who lays down a tarp, matt and a rug

Grace & Mary, maybe try heading out in an RV or camper - you’ll have the joys of getting back to nature but without the effort of setting up & taking down a tent, & it’s usually a bit more comfortable as well 😊

This looks exactly like my camping trip 2 weeks ago....not 72 years old, first time camping in a tent. Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas, Haven't had any rain in a year, 65 mile an hour wind, dirt blowing like crazy. Can of spam with onions and green chilies, couple of cans of Coors. Temp got down to 43 degrees. Wind still howling in the morning. But I still enjoyed it.
Your version of a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich 🥪 is right down my alley! 😀 And popcorn 🍿 for afterwords..... I couldn't be happier! 😀 The tent ⛺ looks like a winner! I love the big canopy porch addition.....and the insulation padding is the first I have come across included with the tent. 😀
I am sure Crua will be concerned about the tear and will take care of you. You actually did a field test and found a potential weak point. I would imagine, though, it is not typical. That IS a really awesome tent and one could live in it. There needs to be a support for the "roof" of your "front porch". In a heavy rain, that will fill with water. I suppose you could collapse that flat panel in that situation.

Thanks again for a great video Kenny! I lived in Washington State for 11 years. I lived in Southwest Washington to Vancouver I sturgeon fish on the Columbia, and climb Mount St Helens in 1990 that's when I first moved up there I miss it. I live here in Arizona now I've been here 20 years I have the bug to do some bushcrafting but right now I just don't have the funds to do what I need to do. I watch hours upon hours of bushcrafters many different ones from England to New Zealand Canada and South America. I was an Equipment Manager for an outdoor program and spent 200+ nights a year in a sleeping bag. I drove thru Saranc Lake a few years back and spotted a house north of town with several various Crua tents set up in the front yard. ....i about crashed. I flipped around and went back. It was the home of the North American distributor for Crua. Completely AWESOME product. I am a big fan ...i do wish they offered a stove jack in them..but not yet.

I just watch all your video’s and you brought back so many fond memories as a child. Should be a law that kids have to go camping or the parents go to jail. When I turned fifty and I saw the 1950 type cabin on the movie “on Golden Pond” I had remembered staying in one when my parents took us on vacation. It was a great cabin off a lake surrounded by tress. On my 50th birthday I decided I was going to buy a 1950 like cabin like that took a year and a half but I found it and we spent two months and I have never been happier in my life then on the way home it caught on fire so I ended up buying a Harley thanks for bringing those memories back in love your videos need to make a cookbook you got to tell us the food you cook.

What you'll love is the military tent that's heavy duty and the installations already sewn into the material, it goes right up in 5 minutes, can withstand most any weather, you can watch TV in it you can do paperwork you can set it up for an office what would be cool about this tent which it makes you work harder setting it up, is they should have made the front porch roof where it had pitch where it came down halfway with screen all around it to the ground, for your campfire inside, if it was raining outside.

That steak sandwich looked good. Since I’m from Philly I gotta say you should come here to try our famous cheesesteaks. Secret is to slice the meat real thin and cook it with butter and oil, have a top shelf roll and don’t skimp on any ingredients. But you gotta slice the meat up thin so. That tent was really cool too. I have one of Crua’s 3 man pop up’s from a while back. I loved that thing. Love the stuff you do, it is really inspiring. Cheers and many blessings.

Very nice tent Kenny, I used to have a 4 person family tent, but like you said not always possible, god continue to bless you and your family. You can sew up that piece inside, won't take but a few minutes, home away from home, lol. All you need is your TV now. I like to sit outside and watch the birds fly overhead, sometimes red and blue birds in my area, peaceful to watch them. See you next time

The highlight for me was the bag popcorn!!!!! What I love most is that you didnt over talk the whole time there was times when you were silent and you showed the scenery very well. It gave me the vibe like i was there. whoever does your editing has skill. I like that you talk about the things that people want to know like: the weather and then what it actually feels like to YOU. I love the side foldaway table next to the cot very dope. Who is it by? Thank you Mary!! I really liked this setup too, it was super comfortable! The insulation makes such a difference! Staying cool is a bit tricky, I am looking into some options though! Last summer I built an ice chest cooler and that seemed to work pretty well! It would be so nice if you could actually have food delivered!! Would make things so much easier lol! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you about something me & my family always enjoy when we go camping: We bring our grill out pie makers and have fun making our own fresh baked individual little pies! All it takes is bread, butter, and your favorite pie filling 😃 Didn't know if you had ever heard of it, but you can get a grill out pie maker pretty cheap wherever campout items are sold. @@BaumOutdoors 🏕️ They're called a Pie Cooker or a Pie Iron 🥟 You can also use it to make hot sandwiches... Be careful when buying one. You don't want one that's cheaply made or it will melt in the fire. The best ones are cast iron 😊 Keep a close eye when cooking the pie or it will burn. You want it to be golden brown.

LOL! It was a beautiful place! The sand is due to the level of the lake I guess! It was actually very nice but don’t expect it to be like that for long (the dam will probably fill the lake back up) that was Shelby on the phone LOL! What a crazy storm we had!! A tornado?!?!
Such a happy, go lucky guy. Anytime I see people opening a tent in a box for the first time I grab a chair and a beer and wait for the cussing and hammer throwing ( if they brought a hammer), if no hammer then smashed fingers using a rock to drive in tent stakes.
