@@krstev29 I think he only qualified for the grand final because he is loved by the esc community, but the jury wouldn't have ranked it very high in the final, and esc fans didn't want him to win since he'd won before
Funny how both Croatia 2024 and Finland 2023 got the same amount of points in the semi finals and both won and decimated the televotes in the final. The two robbed kings of the people's choice
in ESC 2023 and ESC 2024 in the semi-final there was only televoting, but in the final there were also juries. Unfortunately they ruined everything. I hope they remove the juries from the finals too.

Hurricane ISR2024 took 0 points in the semi-final from San Marino because it voted by the jury instead of televoting, while in the final from San Marino it got 12 points from televoting. If the people had voted in the semi-final instead of the juries, Hurricane would have taken another 12 points thus obtaining 90.35%.
2 fun facts: 1. Norway 2018 had the lowest placing semi final winner, with alexander placing 15th in the grand final despite coming 1st in the semi 2 2. Switzerland 2024 was the lowest placing winner, coming only 4th in their semi (narrowly beating dima bilans 3rd place)

Calm after the Storm was pretty popular on German radio for a while after the 2014 ESC. Love that the Grandmas got First Place at least in the Semi-Final. Voyager with that MR2 on stage :) Rim Tim Tagi Dim is getting really close to becoming my favorite Eurovision song (after Hard Rock Hallelujah)
