not inherently a bad idea but some power lifter would probably come in and lift 3 times what you can and you would revoke his membership because his foot placement wasn't to your standard

If it was a safety issue, like them arching their back like some of the ego lifters trying to deadlift in these videos, then I would give them tips so they didn’t injure themselves. I’m talking about those who put every 45 lb plate in the neighborhood on a leg press or barbell, and then press or squat with 3 inch ROM. There would possibly be a 2 or 3 strike rule.

@@yugimuto9763 I guess you didn't get the satire in my comment. I know crossfitters beat themselves to death. I've seen the flailing pullups that go bad. I've seen you tossing loaded barbells to each other. I've seen crossfitters balancing on a kettelbell doing one-leg squats with a 300 pound rack on their shoulders. I don't see how any are functional exersizes. I'm familiar with Barfy the Clown and the Lady of Muscle Breakdown. From what I have seen crossfit is a great way to get seriously injured and to sideline yourself for weeks or months. That was what my first comment meant. I'll leave you to it. Everyone has their own fitness preferences. Being 60 I've exchanged 1RM benching and squats for lighter loads and higher reps. Actually isn't bad. I don't do roids so I'll never have the mountain shoulders but I'm in good shape and the higher reps add stam.

This just confirms to me that people that bitch about CrossFit have the weakest egos and just need to validate themselves by shitting on anything that's popular to bring down. Get a life.

Strongly agree with you. Gyms need to have a simple dress code stating that all shorts must come to the top of the knee, shirts must have sleeves, and no midriff is to be showing. Normal women who are actually there to train would not be affected one bit.
