normally I get hungry while watching these videos but I just had an amazing charcoal grilled cheeseburger that I stuffed with lobster. I'm actually quite satisfied.
Mike, you were right in my neighborhood! Would love to take you around if you're ever back. Be sure to check out "Sky City" plaza at Midland and Finch next time - just down the street from where you were!
This is trippy seeing my neighborhood restaurants in a video lol being able to recognize places I go to regularly is weird c: I love the food in the GTA because of how diverse it is
Pink Himalayan salt's "health benefits" are complete woo, just like Athletic Greens's unsubstantiated woo. Love the channel, love seeing the international variety of food out there, but the casual comments about things being "really good for you" are complete bunkum
Yeah, actually studies show the impurities that make it pink might be radioactive and no evidence of health benefits. Probably not a huge health hazard but it's not good for you.
Yungshang is a chain here in Toronto, very delicious! We have so many amazing noodle chains (Magic, Hey Noodle, and lots of ramen chains too). Toronto does noodles very well :)
You need to open a restaurant in Vegas with all of your favorite recipes and food! Love following your guides for traveling, would love to go to a simply dumpling/mikey Chen restaurant
Man, are we gonna keep getting super expensive fancy places? I miss the more humble settings of small businesses. They're especially struggling just now because of rising living costs and the after effects of the lockdown, after all
Have seen Mike use his hot oil for a long time. I always thought he was just promoting it but then I order one of my own and WOW it's fantastic I'm hooked
Welcome to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Lots of great places to eat here, especially in York Region where you were. There are so many lovely small businesses you should try. Quite a few Pho places. Yummy brunch places too. Beautiful neighbourhood places such as Unionville. A few movies and shows filmed there. Asian and western food. Fusion. Lots to eat.
Next time you're in Toronto you have to check out Logas Corner. The beef momos and the homemade hot sauce. There's nothinbg like it. Absolutely mind blowingly good!
Welcome to my city! I am not sure if you have tried Fishman Lobster Clubhouse yet but I think it would make a great video! If you have already, you should try their new location Jumbo Lobster Restaurant!
Mike needs to get a new camera. His vlogs are too bright and the resolution seems low and poor. Other food vloggers have such great quality cameras compared to him. Don’t hate just pointing this out. Noticed this for a long time nowZ
If you ever find yourself in BC, specifically in Langley British Columbia? There are 2 pizza places you have to go to. Emilio Finetti's and Me n Ed's pizza they're both incredible and like 2 minutes away from one another. Well worth the 30 minute drive east of Vancouver.
Totally love your videos Mike, been watching for a long time. Happy to see you in the area and amazing how you describe the food. Please call the place Markham or York Region. It's a little different then TO =P Thanks for showing our area off!
I’d Lao like to hear from her, I’m interested in her opinion, but what if she doesn’t want to be on RU-vid that much? Social media is not for everyone. If she’d like to stay private, I respect that!
I found it odd that they gave mike a Costco brand salt grinder to use. It’s not a knock on the grinder because I use that at home but for a place that serves such nice selections of meat I thought maybe something else.
Wow. All that over a salt shaker. Do you not think restaurants run out of things and maybe they sent the busboy down to Costco to pick up a dozen until the next delivery? Or the simple fact it might be cheaper than their supply place. Dude it is just salt.🤦♀️
Welcome to Toronto Mike☺️I hope things were not too rough at Pearson. I recommend R&D restaurant. Michelin star chef Alvin Leung is part owner. You’ll love it ☺️
Yumshang is one of our favourite places!! Coconut curry for the win! Would have recommended you try the buns at Gloucester too ❤️❤️❤️ Gyubee is another one to try 🤤🤤🤤
I can’t believe you came to the 416 and didn’t call!! My friend says the deliciousness of a Chinese restaurant is inversely proportional to the cleanliness of the floor. I inspect buildings for a living and the most yuck kitchens I’ve seen have the most awesome food.
Mike, I noticed you left an eaten bone and prawn shells directly on the table. In this climate of Covid and for the consideration of fellow diners and wait staff, please reconsider doing this.
Everything looks fantastic except that foie gras. Not much gets to me but I refuse to eat it because of what they do to get it. Really wanna try that place though the next time I'm in Toronto. They have some great food places.
