In the US we call the little has browns tater tots. “Tater” is supposed to be short for “potato”. Not sure where Tot came from haha. I think my sister would love this place. She loves Budaejjigae :)

@@AaronandClaire honestly most of the food was pretty amazing! some of my favorites were Korean BBQ, Chicken and Curry Gun (in Hongdae), Jeonju dolsot bibimbap, Myeongdong Gyoza Mandu, Mom's Touch and budae jjigae buffet! I can't wait to go back to Seoul :')

Here in the US we have a chain all you can eat restaurant called Gen BBQ which is $13.99 per person, so around $4 more but this is all you can eat meats which include Korean BBQ chicken, Bulgogi and Chadol Baegi. And they also have all you can eat Ramen, so if you guys want to try something somewhat similar try Gen BBQ.

To avoid over salting, don’t add salt directly to pot or plate - instead, salt into palm of your hand first and then season food with salt from your hand.

Hi if anybody could let me know, are there alot of stores in Seoul called "Nolboo Budae Jjiggae" or is that what army stew is called? I actually saw a listing on Klook with the same Nolboo Budae Jjiggae but the reviews are that there was no free flow of meat or the ability to fry eggs

Nolboo Budae Jjigae is the name of franchised restaurant and they run their business in 2 ways. One is just a normal restaurant and the other one is all you can eat restaurant which you can get unlimited refills. 😊
