A really great Video, that must have been a lot of work to produce and cut. Thank you very much. I love the sound of the common Snipe, when diving in the sky…
Welcome to the Faroes, great video and great photos, with the many tourists starting a few years before Covid, I think it took the Faroese people by surprise, especially in our small villages. After a few Wild West years where farmers would demand payment, ranging from fair to the ridiculous, the Faroese government stepped in and has just past a bill in parliament to get more structure in the tourist industry, being a small country our nature is very fragile and can not accept millions of tourists a year, therefore fair/high pricing will only get us the tourists that really want to visit our islands and not just a stop on the way to Iceland 😜 Can I ask what lens you were using and what binoculars you are using ? Thanks.
@@gryphongryph it's probably a very good idea to regulate tourism, especially for a fragile place like the Faroes! I'm using my former nikon D500 which I have recently replaced with the Z8 and I still use my favorite lens the Sigma 60-600 ❤️ Thanks for watcing and thanks for your insightful comments 👍😊
An excellent video thanks for sharing - I hope to make it there one day!. Did you use your new Z8? Interesting to see the wren - there are a number of subspecies around Europe
Thank you so much, I had a fantastic time making it! 💚🐦 This is shot with my old D500, I only got to swap it when I came back. Maybe another trip with the Z8.. 🤔 😅
