Aboard the New Citroen C5 Aircross, we arranged for Howard Ritchie to visit a delightful country park and beach on a beautiful spring day with our expensive non-waterproof equipment.
That was the plan anyway. Quiet, highly efficient, easy to drive, Citroen also insist the C5 Aircross is the most versatile and comfortable SUV in its segment whatever the weather. With that in mind, we'll also be looking at a couple of innovations such as the suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions as well as the Advanced Comfort seats.

Where all VW Group cross-overs look very much alike, PSA' has put much more effort and distinction in the design of the Grandland, 3008, DS7 and this fab C5 AC. The result: a mind boggling operating margin. PSA scored 8,4% margin - VW 3,8%. Customers happy, PSA's CFO happy. Nice test by the way! ;)

You should consider presenting the number of Isofix/Top Tether points, particularly for family cars.

It's a big step up from the other citeron cars on the interior I'd rather get the automatic though plus the automatic gear selector looks way better

We test drove the Aircross and loved it. The magic carpet works and it is quiet. Only question I have is how best to buy the Flair Plus model.... and is it worth the money vs some other mid range SUVs that are a year old but still just as viable and practical. Welcome thoughts please.

I really like this car and I always had a Citröen as my main car but I don't really enjoy the exterior design of the C4 and C3 aircross

Its a neat package, only let down is the interior, i for some reason like the interior of 3008 more than this.

And the fact that LED headlights aren't offered at all on right-hand-drive cars, even as an option or on the range-topping Flair Plus. Here, we have to make do with old-fashioned halogen units - welcome to the 1990's! Why RHD cars STILL don't get LED headlights I'll never know, especially as they are offered on the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 in both left and right-hand-drive markets!

Mine arrived fri...got it through Zenauto via Leasing.com 1.6 petrol flair plus in volcano red! 10k miles a year £216 a month 3 year lease. Fantastic Deal but even more fantastic car!! Great review

Its a shame the best prices on the website are by Bristol street and when you contact them they are not even close to their website price. I informed them of this weeks ago. A Flair for £199 a month on 9+36? pull the other one :)

Why aren't right-have-drive cars offered with LED headlights, even as an option like the left-hand-drive cars are? Here, we have to make do with old-fashioned halogen units like on an old Rover Metro - welcome to the 1990's! Why right-hand-drive cars STILL don't get LED headlights I'll never know, especially as they are offered on the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 in both left and right-hand-drive markets! If Peugeot are able to offer LED headlights in both LHD and RHD, then I don't see why Citroën can't do the same with the C5 Aircross...

I like this car , I drove it yesterday actually , but that 1.2L 3 cil. engine its a joke for the size and weight of this car , I don't know why you say you like it 🤨, for example whe were 4 people in the car and, on the slip road to go on the motorway, the car feels slow as fuck 🥵 🤯 , it's not the righ engine for this car , especially when you have 3/4 people in the car ,it's crap 🤢, but then I drove the diesel one , and that feels miles away better than this shitty 1.2 3 cil , this engine should be on the citroen C3 ,not on this car . Nice video 👍
