I do alot of anti cas in grb. I hate when someone who knows how to use it spawns in. I try to get them into a dog fight, nope. I try to learn their flight paths nope, they stay unpredictable. Had a game where one of these killed all my teams cas, i killed his teams cas, and everytime we tried to engage it would end up in a stalemate. I was in my favourite plane, the chinese ki84. Only plane i have aced

WWII-era Air RB gameplay? Heck yeah! :D I really love how well Air RB showcases how little bits of natural teamwork and support can make a huge difference on the outcomes of fights and matches, like with the J7W in the first match and twice with the La-9 in the second. And manoeuvre kills really need to be a thing in WT.

I've quit trying to get to the AMX-50 Surbaisse, the Phrench suck at 7.3. Well maybe not suck, but everything seems to be better than their solid shots that have neither the penetration of HEAT or APDS, nor the phragmentation of filler rounds. Also they're not the phastest, nor the most armored. And I have no money to buy 7.7s past Lorraine and the first AMX-50

I seem to remember it was intended as a cheap mass production plane that was cheaper and easier to make in large numbers than the Me-262, but was also easier for new pilots to master quickly. A sort of first jet to get you experience. Which means it should be popular. The energy management that is critical in this plane is important for all planes so flying this plane first teaches you the right way to do things. Only engage when you have the advantage and manage your speed and energy (speed and height) carefully because they are life.
If you are ever around Virginia Beach, make your way to the Military Aviation Museum in the Pungo area. They have the only airworthy La-9 in the world, and much more flying examples of WW1, WW2, and Korean War aircraft.
Flaps are phenomenal in this plane. You can use the combat flaps a bit above 800kph without them ripping, the takeoff flaps around 600. Really good for surprising an enemy with some extra turn.

Actually, i don't hate this plane. To me it's one of those unique planes worth owning just for the sake of them being unique. Aside from that, it's a pretty good anti-cas plane for ground rb with how fast it is on the deck relative to a prop, but admittedly it does sit at an unfortunate br where you either have to uptier it to a 6.3 lineup or uptier a 5.7 lineup to 6.0
you should try the Zero! the A6M5 (Ko version for the extra shells) at 5.0 it gets fully downtiered 70% of the time, better climb rate than Fw 190s, turn fights anything and can easily dodge anything that dives on you. By far the best plane at that br. Even in full uptiers you still get people that try to turn fight with you
I honestly don't know why this thing gets so much flak, It's one of my favorite turbine engine jets, its faster than props and more maneuverable than most other jets with great guns. and if you roll the scroll wheel forward a little for throttle you can get the throttle at 105% and it wont red line the engine, it like a WEP that wont destroy the turbine. So basically if you play it like a BF 109 you usually can do pretty good. That's why this jets is one of my personal favorites!
A long long time ago the HE-162 was really good, faster and more agile than the F-80C and the MIG-9. It easily reached 900 km/h at sea level, had a good climb rate and energy retention. But suddenly one update Gaijin completely destroyed it and its flight model. It became unstable and buggy in turns and it could barely reach 800 km/h. Since then Gaijin fixed the flight model a bit but it's still a shadow of its former self.
In Sim I love the He-162. It's small and quite nimble. With lots of opposition in the air, fly low, keep your airspeed up and attack unsuspecting opponents flying below 3000 ft and go down to the deck so hide again after your attack run. It really is fun!

Stats has must done: Weight: 2750kg (6000 pounds) Speed: 800 km/h sea level Weapons: 2x 30mm Mk.108 or 2x 20mm Mg.151 Fuel: 20 min Many of german aircompanies attempted to create this "cheap" plane except for the Messershmidt lololol. So the fight for a design was between Heinkel company and Blohm und Voss company. Blohm und Voss offered a better design overall, but Heinkel won the place for He.162 after 2 attempts. If not for B-17 bombing the factories, number of He.161 in 1945 would be around 4000-5000 units. That could had turn the war around. And besides He.162 there was Ho.229, Me.262, Me.163, Arado bomber and many brainexploading designs in 1945(!). it is the German genius engineering. But i feel bad that this genius has been destroyed by Fashizm and horrible actions from Hitler.

This BR range is probably the most fun for aircraft. Props at their finest, Jets at just the beginning, no missiles, no radar, just pure dogfighting with some excellent aircraft
For allies aircraft maybe. Us axis players have a miserable time here because of ju288 spam and overtiered aircraft that is outclassed by the god-like superprops in every way.
I find it hard to qualify this thing as a plane. It's more like a prototype manned drone than anything else, but history says it's a plane, so it's a plane.
According to Allied intelligence, if the Third Reich produced He-162 in bigger quantities, their air forces would be in a lot of trouble. While Me-262 was engineered to be a high-altitude bomber interceptor, this thing here was designed as an air superiority fighter. And as it turned out, it was phenomenal. Thanks to mostly wooden construction, it was cheap and fast to make. It's small frame and big engine gave it minimal profile, with some insane manoeuvrability and big cannon made aircraft explode. It had its downsides, though. Pilots had to be small of frame and be able to bench press 200 kg to manoeuvre at combat speeds, because it had no mechanisms alleviating those forces. Small fuel tank led to crashes off the airfields and wooden frame was vulnerable to any sort of incendiary munitions, or ignition of fuel. Still, when Captain Eric Brown of the Royal Navy tested this thing, he judged it a first class fighter and coming from someone who tested over 400 aircraft, it was no idle statement.
It has horrible energy retention. What it does fine is being fast as long as you're not trying to turn hard. But that's not energy retention. He-162 that does a sharp turn is HE-162 that slows down A LOT.
Note sure how many times I've requested this. Maybe ten? May I request the Uncle Tom rockets for a video? I don't care if you use the Avenger Mk II, Firebrand, or Mosquito. I just want to see you do a video with the Uncle Toms. That or the Triplex R.P., or the Red Angel. Show the British heavy rockets some love. Either in ground rb, or if you really want a challenge, naval rb. Use the rockets that were designed to be used against ships for their intended purpose. I managed to take out a destroyer with the Wyvern using the Red Angel rockets a few weeks ago, and it was one of my proudest moments in my eight years of playing this game. Had to use some island terrain to sneak up on it, being undetected by the damn aimbot AI anti-air gunners until I was close enough, popped up over a hill and fired from about 1km away, and hit the side of the ship under the front guns. I even managed to turn around and get away without being shot down. The only other way I know of to get close enough to ships is to hide in the clouds until I'm right above the ship, then dive from the clouds. By the way, I would be more interested in naval if they did just a few things: Add submarines, slightly nerf the anti-air gunner accuracy so using planes is possible, reduce the SP cost for planes so there's more of an incentive to use them (would make naval gameplay a bit more dynamic to have more planes in the air), make successful hits with aircraft torpedoes more rewarding to encourage their use, and give planes in rb a torpedo lead indicator like what the ships get, because it's hard enough to aim those torpedoes without also being shot at. Making planes more viable and adding submarines would help to make naval battles, particularly blue water, more dynamic and interesting, instead of just becoming a 12km sniping match. I don't care if the 12km engagements are more realistic. I want something more engaging.

Always brightens my day whenever you upload. Have you considered trying out the Ratel 20? At 6.7 its an absoloute bus with Seven MILAN ATGM's from the 80's fighting against Tiger I and Panther A's.
Bro it's my favourite plane I always use it. Nobody has a chance :D My favourite thing about this plane is that it's so small - so I bait other guys into chasing me and then I literally run from them between the trees. They loose me then I turn around and shoot them as they don't know where I went. Best plane I call it 'The wingsuit'. So much fun.
This jet has been my favorite for quite some time. Whenever I've convinced someone to fly theirs with me, we always have fun. It's fast, bad, and good at the same time. But my overall favorite vehicle in the whole game has to be the BT-7A(F-32)
wait a god damn second, this thing is 6.0 now wtf. I actually remember back when it was buffed and actually pretty good, also remember back in the day when it was wayyyyy worse than it is now, it could barely reach top speed which was slower than most props at the time, it didnt turn at all, it was basically a brick
I've had and seen some interesting dogfights in that jet that I really enjoyed watching / being in.. like 1 match I reversed a P-51H and pilot sniped him and I watched a 162 in a 1v2 and won.
