وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْناً وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَاماً{63 And the servants of ((Allah)) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!";
I think people need to take life with a grain of salt. I myself am muslim and want you guys to consider this. This man is obviously a very talented singer, he could've gone the popstar way because he has the voice he could've been a Ragheb Alama or Amr Diab type but chose to sing songs about Allah and Islam. Do you really think Allah is going to be mad at him for playing a PIANO??? I say lighten up people, this man is doing NOTHING wrong. Mashallah Sami Yusuf keep up the great work!
sisters ,brothers there's ikhtilaf just respect all opinions if you listen to nasheed with music Don't mock those who do'nt any way may Allah reward brothers Sami, Mesut nice song
Thank you for your information. Not many Spanish-speaking people are conscious that the very comon word "ojalá" -we use it when expresing a wish- is derived from dialectal Arabic "wa sha'a Allah"( excuse me if the transcription is not exact), another proof of the influence of Arabic culture and Islam on Hispanic culture, in spite of modern efforts in Spain to minimize it.
bu arada... Mesut Kurdis ve Sami Yusuf Duetlerini özledik:-) coktandir göremiyoruz, insallah ileride daha fazla parca yaparlar. en son IGMG Aileler Gününde Kerpende görmüstük ikisini, umariz bu ileride artar, cok seviniriz!
Ömrün bitirmiş viranemiyem Aklın yitirmiş divanemiyem Kanat vururum, döner dururum Yanar kurururm, pervanemiyem Yaşlı gözlerim, tutmaz dizlerim Yolun izlerim, mestanemiyem Aşkî can feda, olsa ne fayda Aşk oku yayda, kemanemiyem Allahu Allah Allahu Allah Allahu Allah Allahu Allah
Masallah! Cok güzel gercekten! Sami kardesimizi sever ve sayariz, ama Mesut kardesimizde bu ilahiye baya renk katiyor! Sesine yüregine saglik ikisininde! AeO!
We've to consider 2 things : 1st the lyrics of songs. Good lyrics produce good energy (Bob Marley), songs with bad lyrics produce bad energy (Madonna Jayz). 2nd music that encourages sinful acts and attitude(songs in clubs) vs music that provides a calm environment (classical). Finally I'd like to mention we hear music when relaxing in nature from birds insects and other animals(God made), and we enjoy listening to it as it provides tranquility and peace and "good energy". And God knows best.
Although I do not know if it is correct to use instruments really, for me it is BEAUTIFUL; it reminds us with spanish ancestors of the Arab influence in our culture and music, especially Andalusian(Al-Andalus) Flamenco. Thank you for posting!
