I like Alldocube budget tablets, currently have the iPlay 40. Glad they started to move towards Helio G99 as well rather than using that Unisoc chipset again. 6nm is a welcome improvement. This aside though, I wish the battery sizes were bigger in general in their products. The competition around this price range, also using Helio G99 offer 7500-8000mAh or more. Well, at least Alldocube won't skimp on that 8 GB RAM. But they seriously should stop milking the "iPlay 50" series. If I counted right, there are 9 different iPlay 50 products as of now. Unnecessary amounts of "variety" if you ask me.
Can you try to install to this tablet and play the game Flight Pilot: 3D Simulator ? I would like to learn if is possible. I mean if can turn the airplane left right and up down. Is the primary criterion If I will select those tablets because I read has only G- sensor.
I have the "mini Pro" version of this tablet and am quite satisfied. The latest upgrade is V1.0_20231102 which is installing as I write this. It will take a few moments to check, the stats seem to exceed the one you've reviewed. Soon as it finishes I'll try and let you know. Taking considerable time to install the update, so it may be that some substantial modifications are taking place. In the meantime, I have the larger DOOGEE which, though more expensive than your 10" Aldo, is truly exceptional for it's price range. Ok, rebooting the mini now... BRB. Edit: Android 13, My device has 256 megs on board, and has a 512 g card that I've added. As for the screen, mine is so bright I run it at 60 % and use the "DARK THEME' system setting. I use the "8 plus 8" gig ram setting (I use this for controlling my high camera speed/resolution drones). In any event, imho a VERY competent tablet (the mini Pro version) at a shockingly low price point.
☺ After your review of the Alldocube iplay 30 pro 2 years ago, I purchased one and it's still going great guns. Now my wife wants the iplay 50 pro haha.

Thanks to your review of the iPlay 20 I was rocking this tablet for 3 years. Recently decided to buy a new one and was considering iPlay 50 Pro but eventually purchased Redmi Pad SE - 11 inch and 90 herz won me over. The price was similar to the iPlay 50. Great review btw.
I've seen so many tablet copycats these days. It's hard to tell if they come from the same company who manufactures/designs products like these. Regardless, great review. We always look forward to see what else you have in store for us.
Between all the budget tablets with G99 chipset, which one would you recommend the most? I guess between Teclast t50 pro, doogee t30 pro, redmi pad and this alldocube iplay 50 pro?

I bought this tablet for my sister already about half year ago, the spec is great but the screen is not good (I mean the colour is not real, a bit blue-ish), hopefully next model they can enhance the screen display quality.
Hi, I haven't seen any Blackview tablet review, I don't know if you have a bad opinion or just you haven't had the opportunity to test them, do you have an opinion about it?. I´'m checking the new Blackview Tab 18 and I have some doubts about a long term performance if it'll last for years or not. Thank you!
One thing about blackview is that their tablets have a bespoke android software they call DokeOS. It has neat tablet specific features like desktop mode. Only problem with blackview is that they tend to use slower chips than the competition, and they do regressions with model updates. The tab 13 had a t618 then they made the tab 15 with a weaker chip. Have no idea what they're doing. But dokeOs seems solid
Banggood www.banggood.com/Alldocube-iPlay-50-Pro-Helio-G99-Octa-Core-8GB-RAM-128GB-ROM-4G-LTE-10_4-Inch-2K-Screen-Android-12-Tablet-p-1982728.html?p=QZ14021624945201505Y there are coupons in the description.
With this iPlay 50 Pro model, you get more RAM - 8GB and more storage. The screen is also a bit bigger at 10.4 inches compared to the regular Tab A9 with its 8.7 inches. However, you'll only have Android 13 to work with. Maybe you could try to look into the Tab A9+ with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage if you want more Android software upgrades and the same specifications in terms of storage and RAM as this tablet. It really depends on whether you want more software updates or care about the value of the tablet. There is also the Tab A9 regular version with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Maybe that would be the sweet spot in terms of software upgrades and hardware.

Cool. Bought the previous version , 40, which has the same good& cheap advertisement. It works, but has micro freezes, and can't play any games or any apps that need more hw power. And the seller (Banggood ) doesn't wanted to do anything about it.
I just ordered mine for less than US$190. Will be using it mainly for Clash of Clans and RU-vid. I was satisfied with the mini pro so i got this one too. This will replace the 40 pro that i have been using heavily for almost 4 years
There appears to be a lot of these so called "budget" G99 FHD tablets floating around, and it is difficult to choose between them. The brightness level is the killer for me. For a tablet of this resolution, 400nts should be an absolute minimum for outdoor use. ( I note that the Doogee T30 pro is only 350nts, and screen visibility outdoors is not good).
Looks decent but gven the low prices we are seeing for some of the low end / midrange lenovo and redmi tablets its still a bit of a hard sell if you don't need 4G. Also strange, but it looks like it is just running an inflated version of the android phone OS, seems to have none of the android tablet layouts or features. I recently flashed a pixel experince rom to my old mipad 4 and the android tablet layouts and features from the pixel tablet are actually really nice and genuinely useful.
Correct it's not the Android 12L or tablet optimsied Android. More for yes a phone and stock Android 12. Good job on flashing that rom on the Mi Pad 4.
Another great video Chris 👍 Considering a tablet for an elderly relative that could be used only to accept phone calls and maybe the occasional video call. This seems like it might suit well with a simple launcher installed on top. Thanks for the effort. Always highlighting these more affordable options 🙇
Had to put on closed captioning to understand what in the world you are trying to say. Im guessing this is some obscure dialect of the English language. Quite possibly an extinct tongue.
