Here's my take on these weatherproof boots by Allen Edmunds. Let me know if you agree with me or not! #heritageboots #allenedmunds #winterboots #weatherproof
I appreciate your approach to your videos. No baloney. You’re not trying to impress us. You’re simply giving your straightforward opinion on a well-known boot. Thanks!
I think if they were made in China it wouldn't be a boot I ever thought about. I know it's a big company but talk about not living up to potential. On the other hand, at least your feet are dry! Good review although you didn't mention whether they could pass the Copenhagen cobblestone test.
In all fairness, Allen Edmonds makes the boots like dress shoes, not work boots. The wing tip Dalton, which is my favorite, is something I wear with a suit. For something a little more durable, check out Jim Green from South Africa. I have the Numzaan model. It's every bit as durable as my Red Wings and 1000 Mile Boots. And I don't think twice about the politics of the country, or the factory conditions, or the small children on the assembly line.
