LeBron has infinitely more help offensively even as a rookie than AI ever had. Watching those 76ers teams (a franchise I hate) everyone just felt bad for them with how inept they were.
Iverson's shooting percentages are so bad because he had to create his offense off the dribble with hands in his face 95% of the time unlike today's NBA. Majority of Iverson's made shots were heavily contested shots.
I definitely agree but also dude made it harder on himself. His lack of efficient play making (avr almost 4 turnovers per every 6 assists) contributed to players being aware when he had the ball he was most likely trying to score. You can say it was due to lack of talent on his team but he kept that same trend up in Denver where he had help. If he was a more efficient play maker defenders would back off more.

AI was a SG, not a PG. But the most overrated player of all time is Kobe. Nobody is calling AI the GOAT or has him in their top 10 all time other than a couple NBA players.
