I went to the premiere at Wembley (which is my hometown anyway) and it was exactly like a concert! It was an absolutely amazing atmosphere

What a jerk Paul was but Allan Leech..ya r such a darling...an awesome acting. Very much deserve an award for his role as Prenter. May your acting career prosper for many more years to come. Yeah, no, Paul Prenter was a manipulative punt. You can be lonely and not lose your own integrity and dignity while managing someone who honors you to do so.

I think in the States, “guys” is used generically to refer to both men and women when addressing a crowd. In the singular, yes of course you would make the distinction.

Yes, @Pen Name, here in the US it's fairly common to refer to a group of people informally and generically as «guys». But, I appreciate and somewhat agree with Ms. Brien, in that it sounds a bit exclusionary.

If you're from the South, as I am, you can always use «y'all» ;-) But I prefer the term «everyone».
