The Allen adventurers went to Brian Head Utah for a family ski trip! From where we live in SoCal, its about a 10 hour drive. Its easiest for us to leave at o'dark-30 in the morning and lets the kids keep sleeping. We get to Las Vegas, NV around 8:30 AM for breakfast. From there is a easy drive and very scenic!
Unfortunately this year, we where pretty sick as a family. We tried to make the best of it and stick it out....but, the coughing and fevers got the best of us after a couple days and we decided to call it quits early and get home to rest.
We still had fun though! Lots of snow! Brian Head is great for families and smaller kids. No crazy double black-diamonds here. Very kid friendly ski resort. We love it, little slice of heaven.
