The jury had it right. You were BY FAR the best song of the competition. Just know that YOU are a musician's artist. AleXa's song was catchy, but her song probably resonated more with the younger generation who are more likely to participate in voting for shows like this. Freaking love the groove of this song, though, and your voice is dope. Keep cranking out hits like these! Much respect.

I was napping with the TV on, in my sleep I heard this song and I woke up emotional and dying to know who that was. When I opened my eyes to see him , I was pleasantly surprised. I fell in love with his voice and even cried. He got me right in the heart and soul. I am definitely a big fan. WOW 😍

This is the only song with which I’ve become massively obsessed. I am SO in love with the lyrics, phrasing, and melodic voice leading. So unique and refreshing!! I agree with all the comments here and I just have to say when a song hits you instantaneously it becomes a life anthem a huge gift for decades to come and this is such a song. And I have to say also that I thought America's original song contest was a wonderful premise and that of course Alexa was amazing but I think they need to separate a song contest from a performance contest which I think was the difference between Alexa and Allen Stone there's just no comparison for a song that you're going to be singing and crying and just using as a lullaby the minute you hear it Thank you Alan Stone and I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother if you ever see these comments we all are...
