This isn't a beginner song... If you are a beginner there is no way you can play this. He put the tabs up, so that is probably the best thing for a beginner. He did a good job
Can you include an update on which fingers go on each strings for each of the chords. I am a beginner and would really like to learn the song but I do not know all of the chord fingerings for the different keys. It looks like most of the chords are an F bar chord shape. Thanks!
Haha love how you can laugh at yourself at 7:53. You did an awesome job with this man, really appreciate putting up the chords on the screen! This isn't really a beginner song so you can't really dumb it down :/
Sure! The numbers represent what fret I have my fingers on. I start from the low E string (top string on the guitar) and go to the high e string (bottom string). For example the Emaj7 chord from the lowest string (top string) to the highest string (bottom string) would be: mute (don't play), 7th fret, 9th fret, 8th fret, 9th fret, mute (don't play). If you're talking about the numbers like Emaj7 being the "the IV chord" The song is in the key of B, and the E chord (Emaj7 is a variation of it) is the fourth chord in that key. If you were to play the B major scale, the note E is the fourth note in the scale. If I were to play the IV chord in the key of C, I'd play an F chord etc. I'd look up videos on basic music theory for chords. There are a bunch of great videos on it. The youtube user JustinGuitar has a buncha good stuff on basic music theory. Hope that helps. :)
sorry it didn't help you. the chords are in the description. i made this video a decade ago when you could use annotations on the videos (which had the chords), but youtube decided to take all of that down a couple years ago so here we are with a naked 'chordless' video. good luck on your guitar journey!
you kept talking about chords when certain beginners have no ide about what they are. If you do tutorials, explain finger by finger and leave the tabs out. Talk about the strumming pattern as well. good tutorial tho
