most customers won't be asking for a take away and then eating it immediately right outside the shop, they will be taking it home or somewhere else, and will likely expect the pizza to be somewhat cold. Cold pizza is cold pizza, if it's been out the oven for 10 mins, or 20 mins or 30 mins, doesn't matter. Once he realised you were eating it outside the shop, he tried to solve the problem which he was now aware of, and you didn't allow him to solve the issue. You are in the wrong here.
Jeez mate, I normally like your reviews but in this case the guy tried to fix the issue but you were too amped up to accept it and treated him, even though he was ultra polite, dismissively and ignorantly, not a good look. You are assuming the worst and that he was only doing that because he was on video but maybe he's just a good guy and would do that for any punter.

First he brought out one pizza, then we waited another 10-15 mins for the second pizza assuming the first would also be remade. It just sat there to go cold. Do we then wait ANOTHER 10-15 after already being there for almost an hour? He gave it to us and said it’s okay
@@FoodReviewClubUK that wasn't my point. You do a heap of sponsored reviews where you get it for free and give bias review's fact. They make a mistake and you lapped it up actually showing your true colours. For whatever the reason maybe cause the guy was occupied with you and being nice he's obviously not intentionally given you a cold pizza. People are human and make mistakes.
But he did intentionally give Matt the cold pizza. Matt asked if it was the same pizza that he had brought out before and the guy said yes, no it’s fine. If they had remade that one, they would have had to remake the vodka one too as that would have got cold in the 10-15 mins wait. If pizzas were already being cooked the wait might have been even longer. I don’t think there was any malice in it but the guy realised he had dropped a bollock and panicked. Bottom line is, a cold pizza should never have been allowed to be sent out again.
He was reviewing a margarita and a marinara then asked about the vodka sauce then said re would review the vodka sauce another day then orders a vodka sauce instead of marinara ? Not confusing at all , Div
The order was changed before it had even been relayed to the kitchen. It was one sauce change. If you order two pizzas surely you expect to be given two pizzas?
But you aren't Joe public and openly said you would be reviewing so could have eaten and reviewed the margarita whilst it was hot and then 10-15 mins later reviewed the vodka sauce pizza while it was hot which surely would be reviewing the pizzas at their best. Don't forget you've turned up unannounced, he has customers and other orders that need to be prepared and you asked to film and give some information for content and then treat him like a dick when he genuinely made a mistake. Just for a click bait title. You didn't order 2 pizzas and get a spaghetti Bolognese and a bag of wotsits so where's the controversy ? No customer would eat a cold pizza when a fresh one offered with an apology.
Matt, just listened to yours and Liams chat on the Dozen, i will be totally honest the food reviews isnt really my cup of tea, not saying they are bad just not my thing, having said that, after that podcast i have the upmost respect for you matt, and just wanted to say well done on your success, its also given me the encouragement to keep doing my small channel as i enjoy it but was going to give up as nobody else does hahaha, thank you mate and may your success continue

Why would you hand a customer a 10-15 minute old and cold pizza, and especially someone with a camera, you know its going on social media. Yes he offered to make a fresh one after the fact..... right to point that out. And especially with the owner coming that guy knew he fucked up bigtime

I 100% agree with you and chuffed you made the point cause ppl like me just pay and say nothing. A couple of points, what did the server mean when he said ‘no no it’s fine ‘ ? Getting your order wrong in the first place should mean going back and making both again with an apology for the extra wait. All seems a bit like he was nice and friendly with the knowledge he was trying to mug you off
I think you confused him with your changing the order & also saying ‘save one for a later review’. Feeling quite sorry for the restaurant really which I didn’t expect!

💯 agree with you..if I order 2 pizzas I want them both together hot. Not very professional at all taking one away and leaving it sitting for so long. Well done for sticking to your guns it’s a one shot review not a rehearsal.
4:40 Seems confusing b/c the there's clip missing where the manager gave them the 1st pizza when it was hot. The guy was just trying to provide good service, and they acted like he was trying do something shady. Honestly, it's more underhanded when they allow businesses to give them free food.

Unfair?…how can u take away a pizza and give it back 10-15 minutes later knowing full well it’ll be cold. They should have remade it not want to take it away when it’s been highlighted by the customer. Poor service
Im 50/50 on this one. Yeah you did right being genuine however food review is sometimes more than just the grub. If i had a cold pizza i would want it corrected and his good customer service was allowing that. This alley cat is sitting on the fence.

I would of done the same. Restaurants should be on there 'A' game to all customers whether they are filming or not. Fair play for not allowing him to replace it, the review needs be authentic. Well done boys 👊😎💯
