bedroom duet in a hotel, lightening storm in Thailand, train station in Belfast -- it doesn't matter, she's always at her best and we the listeners always get the reward.
Yes, Andreas, you're absolutely right, Allie's live performance last Thursday was great. It's better by far because it's more emotional, free and honest than the studio recording, which was manipulated with autotune and pitch correction. Allie's voice is so fantastic that it is literally destroyed by manipulation. There are studios that deliberately avoid autotune and other manipulative measures. But Allie has once again shown what she is really capable of. *Simply fantastic!*
Absolutely agree that Allie’s voice doesn’t need any correction, and the pitch correction/autotune takes away the quality of her voice which is otherwise so nice, and makes it sound so generic. I watched a video posted by Wings Of Pegasus who doesn’t care for Pitch Correction, reviewing Sade and her voice, and he pointed that she did not use pitch correction, yet was almost always slightly off pitch(with control) and it actually makes her voice so unique and pleasant. BTW he also did one of Allie’s bedroom videos of an album song and pointed out how obvious that it was dubbed and pitch corrected. To it’s detriment.
A welcome addition to Beautiful Belfast City.❤ By the way of Alie Sherlock..&..her amazing vocals..&.. acoustic... Sublime...lo❤ve this cracking tune.😊
Lovely song to listen to the morning have a great day with your Lord and your father and friends you are a blessed child so continue having your blessings❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Every once in a while, there's a spot that needs a little polish, but beyond "picky," I still can't believe she's not on a tour somewhere! Allie is so sensationally gifted!
Allie is gifted but has worked very hard on all aspects of her performances. Her guitar work has improved heaps and her vocal control also. Allie has chosen to perform the most difficult of songs as a challenge to herself and has logged so many "better than the original" performances despite not having studio vocal correction performs in the cold windy streets of Dublin. She is way more than gifted!
@@peterarmstrong2385 Are we being a bit pompous and literal? Guess what "Pete?" You can take any schmoe with a desire and match them minute to minute, effort to effort against someone like Allie and they'll never make the same grade. Why? I'm glad you asked. It's in the "what you have." Did Allie ask for the voice she has? No. Was she trained to use her voice the way she has since she first went busking at the age of 11? No. She was blessed with a degree of tonal quality, that if combined with the pursuit of mastering HER GIFT, can then become the blessing we all cherish. It's why other artists have so much respect for her. No amount... did you get that? NO amount of effort will match her GIFT, and they know it.
@@kennethgoin628 Please provide a list of “all the other artists who have so much respect for her” since you seem to be equipped with all the inside knowledge. It would be very helpful to know.
Hi VS, I just want to say that Victoria Square has always got something going on! It is always clean and has lots of shops (except for Auntie Anne’s Pretzels which is in Castle Court, sorry if I offended you by saying Castle court lol) but VS has lots to choose from from, it’s just a nice place to be, especially the restaurants :). Hope to see some of the empty shops filled soon (no pressure) and also including the 2 car park floors and the dome, how many floors are there in VS? As a person who goes here every time I’m in Belfast I always have a good time 🎉. If you have read this thanks for taking the time to! (P.S not telling you what to do but it would be nice if there was a restaurant in the dome or something, again not telling you what to do, it’s just a thought I don’t know how it would work but oh well, we can imagine that there is one 😂 ) ok bye!
This is relatively easy to sing. Im a man and sing rhiannas notes. I like how she moved the ohh ohh out of falsetto to a more fully head voice. Her ending was on point.
