I'm working on an Allis Chalmers #3 Power Mower. This is Part 2 of a multi-part series. In the last video I showed some of the steps I took to get the mower functional after it had been sitting in a shed for 50 years. In this video I show repairing damaged threads on the jack that holds up the mower when it is unhooked from the tractor.

So cool for me to see the dye process! I'm glad you were able to keep the whole jack original 🤗😊

Are you hoping to make a jack for one or both of your mowers? I can post the measurements of the components if you want to try to make a copy. As for the lifting mechanism, do you have a specific question you are hoping to answer? Are there parts missing and you want to know what they look like? I only have the one mower with the hydraulic lift, so you are one step ahead of me with knowing how the hand lift attaches and works.
