Best video of an All Crop walkaround and settings on RU-vid, great job! Brings back memories of ragweed plugging up my sinuses unloading our oats back in the 60s, Dad took off a week vacation to get 22 acres off in late July. We can only combine from about 12:30 to 6 pm for small grains in NWPA because of the dew, didn't use spray because Dad seeded Clover and Timothy with the oats for hay the next two years. Brought back many happy memories, thank you!
I pulled one of this for my Dad in the sixties. Used an Allis Chalmers WD 45 tractor. It was more powerful than the little Fords. Worked great and I thought it was fun at the time.
My grandfather had 60. I got to use it with him several times. He had tons of extra parts for it. He sold it when he finally quit farming. I wish I had it today. By the way really appreciate the video. Great work.
I’m pretty sure the one my dad sold is parked in the backfields at 339 Clark Rd Crystal Falls MI. I believe he sold it to the Rudis family but all concerned are now dead. I stayed at an air B&B there ~~8 years ago and think I recognized it when riding around back there. I was my dads grease monkey and as this video states: many areas to take the grease gun to.
Good day from Ontario. Our neighbour had Allis WD tractor , rd baler, & 60 combine. ! drawback was the reels were ground drive if grain was down reels would not help pull grain in. I think the cylinder had rubber on bars. Back in 67 tractor supply started & he bought new cylinders bar from them. Interesting video. 80 grease zerks alot. Thanks
That looks awesome! I've got an all-crop and plan to pull it with either my WD or my Massey MF35 next year. If your 8N can do it, so can I lol great job.
Man how things have changed on out 7120 case ih theres a total of 12 grease points on the whole combine and then on the MacDon header has 18 grease points. Takes about 15min to grease the whole machine and only half a tube of grease being that you are well greased in the first place
Hi , great video. We are in Australia and have an AC 66. Great machine. Does anyone know where to get parts? Mainly the transporter canvases and the rubber coated thresher bars. Thanks
As I told someone above, I believe there’s one on the property at 339 Clark Rd. Crystal Falls MI. This property was a beautiful B&B for years, private now. Stayed there in 2014 and think I recognized the combine when driving my Jeep around the property. My parents and the Rudis family they would have sold it to, are all gone now.
