Allison Janney has been quarantining with her parents in Dayton, Ohio, and explained to Ellen that her mother has been collecting - and definitely not hoarding - a lot of items. Even though Allison thought her mom would be mad for showing it on TV, she gave a tour of a room filled with random things her mother has kept over the years. The Oscar winner later talked about the unique prop she took home from her new movie, “Bad Education.”

These are the times that if you have a long extended time with your parents, that's the time to ask them questions you might never ask and regret not asking after they pass. This is such a great unvarnished interview. Allison Janey is an authentic actor.

It's an Ohio thing - My Grandmother grew up in North Canton, my mom was born there, but I grew up with them in San Diego. Tea Towels, Greeting Cards, and GG was always upset that during her time, Thanksgiving didn't get enough attention <3
