Not a fix as verifying files only replaces ~30 missing files temporarily until the game deletes them again and you fall back into the same issue. Best thing I can say is for your settings video memory should not be higher than 80 and DLSS should not be Nvidia but FidelityFX this should solve most crashing issues, also the game uses a high amount of ram so having 16gb or lower you can run into issues with freezing and crashing recommend 24gb or higher for ram, also clicking verify files on the error window actually prompts mw2 on steam to verify files when clicking play again after the crash automatically. So there is actually even no need to do what your saying unless if fails to validate it by default.
@@Adrian_C_ You might have it setup differently. I have mine on my OS's M.2 drive and my friends have it on a mix of external HDD and SSD and all of them also have it prompt through the error screen. It's like this by default. Maybe a fresh reinstall will work. We also own the full game of MW2 which might be different than WZ 2.0.
@@TheTrueGrimReaper I also bought the MW2 , How I know it didn't verify the game files is because only when I've done it manually , I had to accept the terms when restarting the game ..
