It's not sophisticated or advanced its quite simple and basic after a call is received it can get routed to a towing company in the area or if they are not avaliable or don't answer, it gets transferred to either India or Thailand if they don't answer on time then it gets transferred to a call centre in USA. I was working for the call centre in India. It was fun and felt good to help people when their cars were broken down and get customers to safety
We do all our road service calls with a 26 year old truck with 320000 miles. Looks like a tow truck from a 3rd world country. The Mercedes dealer doesn't like seeing us pull in with one of their 100k plus car on our truck. But Mercedes roadside & all the others keep calling us we were the only tow company that were 5 star google in the area. We just treat people right.
All these insurance companies are horrible. This man standing up there telling you NO we aren't going to compensate our providers. They have to be POOR it's our priority to keep them down.
Bad idea for the customer been towing for over thirty years this digital crap does not work everyone assumes that. You got the email or text just because it was sent meanwhile customer sits waiting.
+Matt Senft Yes Matt I know...I believe that if Allstate truly cared about making the customer experience better they would want to compensate their service providers better...a happy tow truck driver = happy customers.
Of course they aren’t going to increase their rates, that would cut into THEIR profits and BONUSES!!! They want to pay pennies on the dollar for THE BEST SERVICE POSSIBLE in order to enhance their customer experience.
Yeah, well they need to increase their pay and start paying weekly instead of every 3-6 days which is just stupid. Allstate pays me $16.50 a call and where I live, my city which includes the district's that we have took over, over the years is literally bigger than the actual city of Denver (not Denver Metro). And plus they expect me to drive to the other surrounding cities and of course, I don't get compensated worth the damn. The pay is crap and combined, it's below minimum wage. AAA drivers in my area get somewhere between $25 - $30 a call doimg the same soft services. The excuse I get is, it's supplemental income and anyone with a brain would know that this is a full time job.
let customers collect from their own insurance company. its that simple. anything elseand your just losing money because there just pick the cheapest tower. no matter how far away they are. soon they will ask towers to buy in cash to these programs or you will bhave to buy their insurancce for your entire business. it got played like that sin e the 70,s. dont fall into the trap just like walmart vendors do.
So a vendor that was loyal to Allstate all of a sudden gets knocked down or skipped over because we don’t use the mobile app. Bullshit. The all state app does not work well at all. It’s very annoying. We don’t like it at all. Phone call works much much better.
