Normani had to deal with racist Camila Stans sending her death threats, pictures of her being hanged like a slave, trashing her skin color and ally had people saying she was ugly and body shaming her.

Fifth Harmony seems to have been a traumatic experience for all the girls in the group. Like I think they love each other but as far as the label (Epic) and how they treated them I really think they hated it. They always say they’re grateful for 5H cause without it they wouldn’t be where they are but aside from Ally with her book nobody ever wants to speak about the group, the girls don’t keep in contact, they don’t even sound hopeful for a reunion in the future. The industry is crazy.
Yes I agree! In an industry where females are mistreated and constantly shamed if they don’t meet society’s unrealistic “ideal standards”, it would’ve been really traumatic for the girls to have constantly been compared to each other and have to fight for the screen time/lyrics! Remember, they had to endure this from their teenage years when a lot of self-esteem and confidence issues peak 😢 Out of all the girls, it seemed like Ally and Dinah were the ones who view the whole 5H chapter in some positive light. The girls are all individually talented but together, they defined the phrase “Girl Group” to the tee! I think maybe when they are older and have mentally and emotionally come to terms with their past, they may consider regrouping for a single or two! It would honestly be awesome if they maintain their solo careers but have occasional 5H comebacks 😊
As much I want to agreed with you. But just because they were put in a group together, doesn’t mean anything as anything is impossible. It’s only been two years since the girls splits from band (2018), minus Camila departed the group two years prior (2016). I mean let the girls take the time away from each as much as they wants; to cleans and heals mind and soul, until one day they may or might wants to do reunion in near future. It took New Kids On The Block 14 years to reunion in 2008 as they broke up in 1994....

That the band has force to break up by the court system, between boys parents vs management and producer. As they expose the boys to alcohols, nude women/pornography and wants them to sleeps with underage girls, so the court settle the argument by making the band split up and never perform again as group....
To hear how she actually wanted to keep the group going and she’s been the mainstream one since the groups departure ( along side the 4 others but I’m always hearing more about ally ) she’s on tv shows, she had a tour , singles , released a book. Ally is blessed and the universe is on her side.

@@carpediemearth I remember Will was with her and camila when they went to Taylor's concert and camila went on backstage to shawn, while Ally and Will stayed to listen to taylor. I think camila only went so it looked like its ally, camila plus manager. when its probably a concert date of ally & will.
I want to be respectful of all the women in the group, but it seems like the "higher ups" had their favorite and the others didn't matter much. I so feel for her; damn you trolls!! She was, and still is, a beautiful woman. They all brought something special to the group; not just 'one in particular' (sorry to all who may take offense to this). I wish they all could experience all of the "attention" that was given to just one (so it seems). I hope these 4 women flourish in much success as one already is.
@Jacqueles Twali i think we can all agree that they all suffered greatly and none of the girls were to blame for these injustices. Its the labels managers that found one of the girls more profitable than the others and thus exploited her for his benefit which also created a big difference in equality between the girls.
To imagine Ally, the one who seemed like the most happy, rainbow during the years of 5h, in this darkness. It’s so sad. She was always seen as the happy Angel of the group, always positive and smiling, but behind the scenes, she was going through things like turning to wine and almost hurting herself. ❤️ we love you Ally.
If we look at 5H days outfits, she always got outfits that was not for her body type. To be honest the 5H stylist had given worse outfits to her compare to other girls most of the time. 😔
Yep. I feel like the record label had her favorite and the rest had to fight with the scraps. I think it's kinda of absurd that some girls don't even sing in some of the songs (specially Dinah and Lauren) while that other member had basically a solo song on 7/27.
@@clemermoacir i love and respect them all i just dont like how camila made it seem like everyone is jealous of her etc when all of them had management problems but the 4 dealt with it together while she played victim. I know we all dont know what happened but theres a reason the 4 arent following her anymore and thats not jealousy
@@jvalentino6466 umm she never made it seem as if they were jealous, that’s just the people opinion so don’t pin it on her. And she was the only one who spoke highly of them when she left and wished them the best however when it came to them talking about her, they’d always change the topic and would never even acknowledge her. Not to mention they also shaded her at the VMAs which was very childish if u ask me.

I admire Ally even more for opening up about her struggles. Back in 5H she always seemed positive and “sunshine” in the group but she actually was going through a lot 😢 sometimes us people forget that people in the spotlight deal with real life problems too and I just love Ally even more for being so open about it and look at her now! Camila made an excellent choice of leaving. Ally is brave for writing this and sharing the hardships she endured, sucks that she still wanted to be apart of that. Breaking up was a good choice because we are now seeing them as individuals and who they truly are.
I think no matter how grateful the girls are for 5H it was still a traumatic time for them , I LOVED 5H i was a harmonizer but they’re all happier now, love to see them happy

Ally is such a light. I want the best for her. This interview touch me. I can totally relate to turning to alcohol to numb pain. Mental health is serious and I'm glad Will was there to support her. We LOVE YOU ALLY!

I literally felt my heart shattering when ally said none of the girls reached out to her after she published her book, like I feel soooo bad for her, I actually want to cry. I’ve been a Harmonizer for years and I’m honestly so disappointed, honestly.
I remember when Ally was body shamed 😢 In the beginning she had a banging body and was so thin and then she gained a lot of weight, obviously because something wasn’t right. I always knew she was having a hard time because you could see it in her. Once she went solo she lost all the extra weight and she was fit and thin again, because her inside was healed. I hate the damn internet trolls, they were always destroying Ally, those damn people don’t know how much destruction they cause. We nee internet laws, this is a free for all land today, we need regulation and a way to apply the law against criminal people 😞
Trolls are cruel. I remember Lauren, Dinah and Normani also being body shamed, especially Lauren when she gained weight. Normani when she got skinnier was body shamed sometimes.
As a women I always fluctuate with my weight. I think it's incredible stupid for people to think we should always be skinny. We have hormones and we have babies and just can't stay they same weight all the time. We are humans! I bet these trolls don't even have a perfect body and want to judge others. The internet is just such a toxic place.

imagine if in their 10th year of their group creation they would release a new album... the five of them... that would be so epic especially if this time they can be who they really are, sing songs that are created by them too and chosen by them...
I kind of want this to happen, but i also feel that if camila returns for this reunion she would get all the spotlight and it would be kind of unfair for the girls. Ugh but i would love it so much. I wish they were all seen as equals
@@fredb3165 if im being honest i love camila but i love the others too... idk y people kept picking favorites its not like pcd that only one person is doing the solo... i hope they can put their ego aside and learn to work as one... sometimes its the people around (fan and label and media) thats fueling this competition between the girls... that is one thing that is better when it comes to boybands maybe dealing with these kind of things are easier...
@@fredb3165 I honestly feel like if that had a Reunion Camilla wouldn’t be a part of it cause she basically left the group while the other girls just went on a “Hiatus” which is really just a break and I think they may have signed a contract that they reunite at a certain time but also giving them the time to grow there own career and branch out on their own. I may be wrong tho but it’s just how I feel

Syco was a shitty label, every single girl of the group was hurt or mad over something, the only one that took vantage of it was Camila Wish dinah, Normani ally and Lauren the recognition that they deserve

one of the biggest differences between 5H and LM’s careers was age; most of 5H were barely 17 when they entered their initial contract and were over sexualized and exploited with 2 members being under 18 while also not having the artistic and maturity LM had. I know especially the middle years were extremely traumatic for them with the label’s preference of Camila and the other 4 fighting left and right for the scraps being left for them. I want them to stay friends forever and have an ot4 reunion someday, but I doubt that considering how badly epic and syco treated them.
I like Ally but things don't add up. The only people who could complain about not singing are Normani and Dinah. Everybody else was on every single song. Especially Camila and Ally so yeah.
That’s incorrect. The people that could complain about not singing are Dinah and Lauren, the only two who weren’t given a single second in a song. Everyone else sang at least a bit in every song. Lauren wasn’t in Worth It at all - their second biggest song, and they could’ve given her one line that was given more than once to another girl, or at least in the live performances. And Dinah didn’t sing in Sledgehammer. And Lauren sang the least in their debut album. Normani led their debut single Boss, but she also didn’t sing much in the early stuff. She sang more later. Outside of this, Normani and Lauren were the ones who definitely had the worst experiences individually throughout the years.
Um, not everyone had a solo part or led the chorus unlike Camila, who sang on every song prior to their third album. Normani didn’t lead a song on their EP. Dinah and Lauren didn’t have a solo on Sledgehammer and Worth It. Lauren has one line in BHB. Ally only had a few adlibs in I Lied and only sang “hey hey” in Suga Mama, which was more breathing than anything else. And Ally’s the only member of the group to have not led a single (excluding Deliver as it was a promotional single and All I Want For Christmas). Normani led BO$$ and co-led Flex. Lauren led Miss Movin On, I’m in Love With A Monster, and Work From Home. Camila had Worth It, Sledgehammer, and many more. Dinah has at least Flex as a single for their album. And the only line she was talking about was about Miss Movin On. She only has a line and an ad lib, which she thought didn’t showcase what she and the group could be. When she was able to find the courage and raise her voice, it was already too late. But she said it got better and she was able to sing more. And you know what, she didn’t just fight about getting a line for herself, but a fair distribution for the group. She knew that some girls needed to have more. And are you really going to lie and say that Ally didn’t have the least amount of solos/parts in 7/27. It’s on Genius. Despite seeming very little, Lauren is actually the second member who sang the most. She had a few solos, a few choruses, and some harmonies that make up for it. Sometimes, Ally, Dinah, or Normani weren’t even part of the harmonies. Only Normani and Camila got to sing in every song and had a solo.

I think ally is brave and taking action and helping people even if she is still a virgin I think we the fans should be supportive and accept her choices.
It is so good to see each and every member of 5H free and happy at being solo whether they have as big as a success as the other or not. It is more about the liberation. Great that they got along for the most part but the trauma of it all. I personally do not want to see them do a reunion tour or album until they are much older and have had even more time to enjoy their individuality. Besides, still at this point while they are learning to breath on their own, I don't think that Camille would play happy to share the stage equally to 4 other gals with her being the first and lead major success story of the group and certainly the other gals while they are playing catch up and keeping their sanity, do not want to be reminded they would fall back to 2nd to last place. JMO
