Both Kristen and Pete end up with strained or broken romantic relationships that leave them a bit bitter and insecure. They both even have responsibilities to a “higher power”.
Kristen has been physically hurting to watch this season. Like applebees is going down a very dark path emotionally. Shes very much a teenagieger downward spiraling into a lifelong emotional crisis and it hits SO close to home for me as someone who developed mental health issues as an adolescent. Lets 👏 get 👏 kristen 👏 on 👏 SSRIs.
I feel like Ally is such a good perform that you kinda don't immediately notice - Kristen is actually just the worst? Kristen is the shitty ex girlfriend you tell your friends about, or are actively in a situationship with. "Yeah like she's totally self absorbed and doesn't care about anything but herself to such a degree that her apathy has killed and mortally wounded like three different gods. Yeah basically all her friends have to work super hard on her behalf because she just won't make an effort like ever, and the universe kind of just hands her solutions to problems she didn't really have to work on getting herself. Also she's like stalking me."
@@frayedcircus Ally has enough rizz and chaotic energy that they make it extremely funny but if you actually had to hang out with Kristen specifically - holy shit, she would be the actual worst. Like god damn.
Oh no...is Kristen going to be the jealous girlfriend? Kristen was already...something as a choatic gremlin but add jealousy to that and we're in for a ride.
This shit had me cringing so bad I had to skip through it but then went back and tried to watch it and then had to skip again and the cycle repeated but I eventually got through it. Now my favorite Kristin moment lol
It was so perfect, like somebody fumbled the intensity knob just for the last two syllables of "You mentioned a bitch that was on her LAP, RAGH" like they were leaning on the Slurpee machine interrogating somebody else, but they make eye contact with you for those last two syllables right as you get an ice cream headache that makes your whole skeleton reverberate.
@@genuineinterest Weirdly enough, this is one of the most relatable things Ally's done, at least for me. There's something about seeing an ex with someone new that can mess with your head.
I need a direct explanation from Ally themself why I was told this Kristen would be *less* chaotic. I need a 10 minute pause after every scene Kristen’s in lol
I mean, it’s only at episode 5 now… maaaaybe they start playing her as a less chaotic person soon? Maybe we won’t be left questioning what Ally defines as chaos?
They said Kristen is learning chaos isn’t cute anymore, or something? So maybe they’re going to start reaping consequences of the chaos and be like “shit. L
@@hms21793 Yeah, I agree. At first I interpreted that as meaning there would be less chaos. Now I think they're trying to demonstrate the consequences of chaos.
That said, Ally is a comedian in a room of comedians. For them I think, funny wins over character every time. If Ally sees an opening, they’re gonna take it. Kristen being less chaotic will take a backseat to that.
Kristen's energy here really reminded me of Tim Robinson in I Think You Should Leave, in the 'I used to be a piece of shit' sketch or the hotdog car ending. That really tickled me😂
@@logicaloverdrive8197 important clarification that it’s more the “adhd and failing grades” vibe and the phrase “hey girlie” that i relate to, and not so much the energy established in this clip. but i mean…. yeah fair. i’m working on it lol.
"A lot of THAT, and I don't want it." reminds me of so many of my ex-girlfriends. Nobody knows how to handle my intensity, even after I've managed to not have it be toxic any longer.
Unrelated, but I’m rewatching The Seven and I’m confused as to how they’re connected with the current season. Like, I know time travel and stuff was brought up recently in latest ep so is The Seven a different timeline cause Tracker fully graduated early with The Seven Maidens as her adventuring group getting her GED.
i think it’s more that events got jumbled up and not that it’s a different timeline. and tracker dropped out of school, she wasn’t present in the seven at all
