Thanks for the great work, managed to get a valk and jareg clan boss team work on a 4/3 ratio (have no books for valk) Works great! Would love to see dungeon speeds added aswell, 2/1 sprider speed for example.

Tyrant x skullcrusher is one of the best mitigation combos in the game. I've been running them since Tyrant came out ( I pulled him on release ) and 2 keying consistently at 50-52 turns.

Using Rhazin instead of Rearguard and getting MUCH more damage out of it kinda annihilates your argument towards 2x Ally protect, though.. Maybe you should show this without Valk and use Martyr or better still a Skullcrusher instead. The Shields are simply too strong to make double ally protect even necessary.

Brilliant video! My Krisk is the first to die and I suspect its due to the ally protection buff, because he’s just shy of 50k health and over 4.5k def. I will test this out with tyrant giving second ally protection.

Honestly with Valkyrie and tyrant you should be doing 50-60m+ on NM. I am able to hit 50m+ with only epics + rhazin

I actually use Skullcrusher, Rearguard, Altan, Occult Brawler, and Gurptuk. (cleanse and healing) And Skullcrusher obviously goes first, then Rearguard with her Ally Protect (she DOES use it on auto, though). Stun always goes on Altan and Gurptuk cleanses it right after. (But I have to sacrifice the second counter buff on OB, otherwise he would get the stun with no poisons up and Gurptuk wouldn't cleanse him) Without great gear, I can last 37 turns in UNM, but that's still only 4-key, because the dmg output of the individual champs is so low. I do have a second Skullcrusher, but the continuous heal buff from Rearguard seems to be more valuable here, especially since I don't have max crit rate on them and they don't heal up that much.

Well 2x ally protection is kinda useless when you have valkierie's shield as with it you are not using the shields full value it would seem. 2x ally protection would seem very nice if you had martyr for her counter attack + def buff. This would make you have 2x def buff + 2x ally protection + counterattack in 3 champs. Btw @DeadwoodJedi what do you think about Vergis for CB? His problem is he always focuses his main target for buff the guy who is the leader of team, but he seem quite strong and hits quite good also (found him interesting after the buffs few patches ago). it would be hard to make the CB focus the team leader (but if it would be doable then his buff pack on him would make it last very very long). A team with Vergis as the ally protect (and he throws his own def buff + heal on the focused champ + speed up + reflect dmg) + doompriest (for perma heal + cleance) + something like valkirie for counterattak (or 2nd ally protect + def up like Jareg or just def up buff) and then normal package of something like tayler or rhazin and poisoner.

I am currently no. 1 in my tournament group and it looks like i am getting myself my first counterattack champion on monday. I was looking on your homepage regarding the different setups and was hoping for some help from the master himself. I am planning on running Sepulcher as lead and 4:3, Skullcrusher, Sandlashed, OB and Rhazin. I was looking at your Speed tune list and i looked upon the first setup where u run Sepulcher between 229-238 and one between 191-200. I was thinking Sepulcher first, then SC who uses his A2 before AOE 1, and then Rhazin as 3rd, OB 4th and Sandlashed to extend everything. Is that a poor idea? I would love to hear your thoughts. Hate how tyrant won’t use his hp burn on auto

I wonder how a 2:1 team would do say with Speed Buff + SandSlash + Poisoner/DPS + low defense Black Knight (at 2:1 is unkillable) + Rearguard Sarg. At 2:1 there are two ally protects (although Sandslash is passive) and lots of cont Heals from both Black Knight and Rear Guard with SandSlash extended Cont Heal durations and since the team is going 2:1 it can take advantage of the heals. I used your speed calc and the speeds need for 2:1 are very achievable. On Nightmare speeds are High K 225, SandSlash 215, Frozen Banshee 168, Black Knight 182 and Rearguard 166 and it tunes at turn 6

Hell Hades reduced his Valkyrie's defense to bring her more in line with the survivability of his team. Hitting around 6.5K seems to be the sweet spot on her. :)

I use lugan and skullcrusher for the double ally protect seems to be working pretty well so far, problem is it’s on a 4 turn cd rn

I am looking to do a double ally protect / double counter attack team. I am leaning toward Martyr, Skullcrusher, Rhazin and Frozen Banshee as core 4. Choices for the second AP are Rearguard Sgt, Lugan, Miscreated Monster. MM seems to have the most versatile kit. Thoughts?

Awesome video, I currently run (in speed order) SC (only one at 191+ speed, puts up CA immediately), Rhaz, Tayrel, OB and then Warlord. Currently 4 keying UNM consistently, 3 key maybe 2x a week. This makes me think of using Jareg instead of Tayrel as lead, does he need to be in LS gear? Tough for me to get to 240ish speed with LS, thoughts?

Awesome music. I actually have the same team for my CB, but I use steelskull, Rhazin and lanakis instead of valk, RG Sgt and nethril. I have all of them but valk and nethril. Would you say it would be a good move to run tyrant, RG Sgt, sentinel, steel skull and what other champ would you recommend?

Am starting my comp now going to use Jareg and captain template I have rearguard but unsure how to do it all

If Plarium would get off their asses and fix Tyrant he'd be doing 2-3 mil higher and you'd live longer. (since boss does 10% less dam with HP burn up)

Hey i love your idea with the calculator, however i simply cannot understand how its only targeted at nightmare/UNM, sure you can use it on easy/normal/hard/brutal to get a good view of how your CB fight would look like, but there arent made any 3/2 or 4/3 ratios for those difficulties, im personally doing hard/brutal and so its completely useless to me essentially, unless i missed something? Anyway you did a great job, but as i said only end game players can actually use it and i think most players are mid game. Or maybe im just stupid and missed something? Maybe haha but as far as i've seen its only been for nightmare/UNM :(

Shouldn't need to ally protect until turn 20 or so, gain more warmaster procs and normal hits

I tried to tune valk, sepulcher, sandlashed, banshee and rhazin at my best using the calculator. The only issue i have with it is that i obviously have to keep track of the buff/debuff duration while i tune. Do you think it could be a nice feature to add in the future in your calculator for dummies like me?

Got my nethril at acc 330+ and he hardly ever lands his poisons even on force affinity, his a1 needs raised by at least 10%

Take nethril out put in rhazin with toxic set you'll do more damage

Wow thats a big difference. Can I use Vergis as Ally protection buffer? Its my only Ally protection buffer and I think it will be better to add him to my boss team. Now my team cosist of Foli, Steelskull, OB, Apothecarry and Tyrel. Will my team do better when I switch Apo with Vergis? Now I do Brutal boss but i want to move on Nightmare is it good choice?

Does "Cycle of Revenge" work against Clanboss? (it'^s in the defense mastery tree...increases Turn Meter when an ally is hit by Critical). IE Does Clanboss crit?
