In these times of the pandemic, I am so grateful for scripture gems. I have always had problems understanding the book of mormon but the brothers Fullmer make it as easy as abc, it does not replace the discussions in Sunday school but in this moment in time it certainly helps in our understanding and development in our faith in Christ. "The Word" is Christ (John 1:1-14), and Alma tells us exactly what to plant in our hearts relative to Christ that he is referring to (Alma 33:22-23). This is what we need to "plant" in our hearts. Alma specifically tells them to "plant this word in your hearts". I am not sure what all the other stuff was that you mentioned.
