Alma Deutscher: Overture/Pascale Van Os - Virago Symphonic Orchestra 

I love this overture. Beautiful! I agree with the others who said that this is a tad bit too fast. But I am so happy this beautiful music is played by different orchestras, so don’t let me discourage you!

One of the most beautiful overture ever written ! Really happy to discover this performance ! Perhaps, a little bit too fast...If you are interested in young composer of nowadays, please listen to the first symphony by Rodrigo Landa Romero. I would like it to be played one day by a real orchestra like yours.

I liked the clip directed by Jane Glover better (the one used in the BBC documentary about Alma): perhaps this is just a poor recording. I though the original temp (coming out of the Adagio intro) was a bit fast.

sounds very much like Richard Strauss, a good imitation, indeed
