Acoustics in this church are amazing. Being there for a wedding in march I was excited to see St Peters come up while looking for Alma. Olmsted Falls High School received a superior contest rating this year with Alma as our required piece. Only difference is we sang in the key of E flat.

The tempo is a bit brisk for this piece. Isn't it?

A little faster, a little lower. But it seems to work really well!

Frank White, the tempo or the tempo is a matter for the choirmaster and I think Jameson Marvin solved that very well. Why stick and drag on the notes? that doesn't bring anything. Music wants to flow.
