The wonderful Alma Thomas passed in 1978, but her influence as an artist, teacher, and community member continues to inspire. I wrote this song earlier this year, weaved in some clips from class, and added voices of children who sent in their singing! (And of course I had to make some stop motion.) I hope you enjoy!
