Its been 2 years since Mdm Kathrine posted this recipe. I have lost count the times I've baked this. Mine are not as nice looking 😄 but everyone from my pre-schooler to his grandparents enjoy it very much. Its also a very forgiving recipe. Have tried using wholemeal flour, less oil, less sugar - all yummy. Mdm Kathrine, keep up the good work always n thk u!
Dear Katherine, I made these almond cookies for this 2019 CNY celebration n they turned out very very nice. I even made a batch for family in China n they liked it too. I cut down the sugar by 20g though, as we liked them less sweet but with a hint of saltiness. Thanks for this simple yet fabulous recipe.Bless the work of your hands, Katherine😘😘
I just made these and they were delicious! I always bring these cookies back to the US for my parents when I travel to Singapore. So glad I was able to recreate them and they taste just the same. Personally, I think next time we will try with less oil and a pinch more salt, but the recipe is honestly amazing as is!!
I made for Chinese new year because my husband is an Chinese, it turn out to be delicious until my sister asked me to open an bakery order. Thank you and i am going to save this recipe.
I followed your recipe and it turned out amazing! However, my dough was much more wet than yours. I added about 2 tablespoons of flour but it was still wet. I gave up using the cookie mould and squeeze a round shape using my hands. The taste was very impressive! Never gonna buy from outside again! So.. Don’t be discouraged if your dough turns out to be not as dry as in the video XD
I have remade these cookies multiple times. In the video it is 200ml (I must have mistaken it as grams last time). After converting it to grams, around 185g of oil is just perfect! After all, the only wet ingredient here is oil🙊
Hi there! I had to use way more flour (70g), and I measured 200g oil. Maybe there was issues with my conversion but I couldn't get the cookie dough to stay in cut shapes (would break easily) as well. Ended up making circles instead, could you advise why?
Hi...these cookies will be crispy? How long it will stay fresh in room temperature? My cookie cutter is slightly big in size..so should I bake for longer time? Pls tell me
