Hi again. Thanks for the recipe. My almond crispy did not turn out what i expect. It not crispy in the middle of the cookie. I follow the recipe to the T. Mine is also very flat. What is wrong. Please help.
For the amount of sliced almonds you need, it would take hours to do and you're almost guaranteed to cut yourself into slices along the way too. Better just to chop them up if that's all you have on hand. It won't look the same but will taste almost exactly the same. Just try not to pile too many almonds in each cookie.
I tried making this today, the middle part didn't get cooked despite following the time, temperature etc. I even tried adjusting the temp. The sides were golden brown even with controlled heat the middle didnt get cooked. Nothing is sadder than taking time to make something only for it to be a fail. Will try again, maybe it was too thick. Taste quite eggy imo.. Good video tho
