Chris, slots take an average of 10% of your money bet per spin. If you bother to learn basic strategy for blackjack, the house advantage is only about .5% depending on the rules for the game. So yes, slots will take 20 x as much. The only reason why you can lose more in table games is because the table minimums bets are higher than the slot minimum bets.
