I've not gone near Soundpeats since my left H1 died. Huge quality control issues lads as you outlined. Thanks for the surprise drop. Made my Friday morning a little more tolerable tbh. A very long week of teaching lads. Huge thanks my audio friends.
I received my Tozo Open Buds yesterday based on DHRME recommendations and even before I'd opened them , lo and behold "ALMOST a No-Brainer!" came up on my "to be released" feed. Figured you were going to praise the Soundpeats and I'd bought the wrong buds however the review went the complete other way :) Very happy with the Tozos. Keep up the good work. Damned Heroes Recommending Musical Earbuds!!!!
Soundpeats air 3 is legend for semi-open earbuds tho :p mine is still going strong over a year :p my runfree lite also still working :p was super exciting over the gofree 2, but i guess i will try the tozo or aerofit instead this time :p thanks for the review
@MrQMF I also bought them both, but sent back the gofree2 instead. Tozo was just more secured fit for my ears :P tozo got more details on the sound but I preferred the gofree2 sound more lol. Can't wait for openrock X to compare it to tozo xD or the next soundpeats gofree version. I also love soundpeats sound :)
I love the approach of the review. I initially bought the Tozo on your recommendation but I had a different experience. To me the sound was loud but muddy but worse was the fit the ear hooks gave me what I call elf ears and were painful. I sent back the Tozo opebuds and purchased the Soundpeats Go Free 2. I found the sound to be fuller with more separation with LDAC and the pre set rock EQ I am very satisfied with the sound profile. The thinner ear hooks also make for a more comfortable wearing experience. My suggestion is buy the Tozo AND the Soundpeats and send back the least favorite pair.
Got the Tozo after taking your advice in a previous shoutout video. They are great, very happy with them, thanks! Just wish they were a little bit louder, especially in some occasions. Dui!
Great review guys. You have become my GO to channel for ear buds and HONESTY. Interesting fact "maybe" There is a lot of nonsense and fake STUFF on the internet. That said, as to Tozo it SEEMS they are a USA company...founded in Seattle in 2015. Of course like almost every company in the US even bloody Apple, they seem to manufacture in our beloved China. Soundpeats is just another Chinese born company...and sadly seems their quality lives up to the Made in China low quality thing...That said, my wife is made in China too:) She's made very well..I was only pointing out JUST maybe, kidding aside, if Tozo is an American company perhaps they demand better quality control...who knows.. Happy Holidays!
The 9 hours battery Life is recommended at 50 % volume or less take a 3rd off that for 100% so 6 hours is about right at full use with multi device i also had the issue where they didn't connect but that only happened once or twice and just required a re pair i think there great to be honest for the price they sound good too
There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. I also own the Gofree2 but have been very satisfied with it in use. I guess that there is something wrong with the pair you got.
My GoFree 2 pair battery definitely hits the 9+ hour mark. My first set had a charging case that didn't work so I got a replacement. My guess is there is something wrong with the pair you got.
Hearing a few bad things about *SoundPeats* - specifically overall quality control - in this video and in the chat. I am still only in my first month or two of owning *Mini Pro HS* and *Opera05.* Not a fan of the *Opera05* fit, but *Mini Pro HS* fit quite well. *EDIT:* _When the _*_Opera05's_*_ fit, the sound is exceptional. Sadly, they don't stay secure._ 😕 I am not a bass head per se, but I have recently found the extra bass of the *SoundPeats* to really enhance the sound signature. It's not a muddy bass, but instead rather punchy.
Funny, best takeaway for me is those Tozos. Ear canal placement is absolutely critical and these one size only open buds can be a crapshoot. Those Tozos are the first adjustables I've seen - thanks!
Ugh. I've had the worst luck with Soundpeats products. Went through two H1's - both died. Went through two RunFree Lites - one still works (For now). My Free2 Classics are still working thankfully. When it comes to open ear headphones, it's all about loudness for me. From what I've seen, the Cleer Arc II Sports are some of the loudest in the category.
4 SoundPeats buds, starting from the TrueAir 2. All dead in under 6 months, with absolutely no support whatsoever. I'd not recommend this to anyone. At any price. A working pair of buds is better than cheap e-waste.
Thank you for the feedback. Could you reach out our customer support ? Please also remember to attach your order number for activating warranty. Apologize Again.
@@DHRMEPlease could you make a video about brands who have earbuds with very loud system voices or when the literally lock button for example. 1 touch on the left is to change ANC mode OFF or ON and cannot be change . I'm thinking about soundpeats voice and tozo voices. 2 earbuds that I had to return because accidental touch trigger that very loud voice that ruin your 30 mins of relaxation. I'm sure there are thousands of people like me who find these some voice unbearable to the point to send back the products regardless of how good the product is because THE VOICE IS ANOYING and impossible to disable one touch . That would be great if you can do 1 video telling us what company force us this horrible voice by having the touch control lock... The Worst exemple for me is tozo NC7 😳
i heard somewhere that you need to use 1a-2a charger, not quick charge or similar. i have true engine 3 for some years now and gofree 1 for a year, 0 issue
I've just got the Lenovo LP76, to test if open-ears are anything for me at all... And i have to say, ignoring them sounding crappy af at 14 bucks of course, i'm surprised how much it's not "open ear", as soon as the volume is high enough. So i don't get the whole point of them at all, besides from being more gentle to your hearing... 😅 I'll definitely try the Tozo's at one point, but others charging over 100 bucks, is just insane and only, because people have the money... DHRME ❤
Soundpeats stuff are good at the point when you buy it. Give it a few weeks before it goes bust. Then there's the hassle of claiming the warranty only to find the replacement doesn't last as well. Happened with my Trueshift 2 and Q35HD. Never buying another Soundpeats product again.
