How is a former league MVP & passing yards leader (in a season, multiple times) NOT in the Pro Hall of Fame?! Only answer is because he was a Bengal his whole career. If the man was a 49er, Cowboy or a Steeler, he would’ve long been in Canton. NFL has a lot of wrongs to make right…hope this is one they get to before it’s too late. Q: is Ken still eligible for the Hall? Or did he run out of chances to be voted in?

He has to go via the veterans committee. It's still very possible, but they need to get their heads out of....the sand.

Ken Anderson belongs in the HOF, and it's not even close. Along with Staubach, the best QB of his era. Namath, Griese and Bradshaw are in the Hall, and Ken Anderson was head and shoulders better than all 3 of them. He was just as good, if not better than Stabler. He was the equal of Fouts and Tarkenton. That he is not in the HOF is a sick joke.

Bradshaw has 4 Super Bowl wins and was a 2time superbowl MVP and NFL league MVP.Anderson didn’t win like Bradshaw did.

@@MichaelMike-mu3fw Anderson was a much better quarterback than Bradshaw. Bradshaw played on a much better team than Anderson. Individuals don't win Super Bowls. Teams win Super Bowls. Yes, Bradshaw was named League MVP once. So was Anderson. Bradshaw was named to 3 Pro Bowls. Anderson was named to 4. Bradshaw led the league in passing yards once. Anderson did it twice. Bradshaw never led the league in Passer Rating. Anderson did it 4 times. Anderson (81.9) had a better career Passer Rating than Bradshaw (70.9). Anderson (59.3%) had a better Completion % than Bradshaw (51.9%). Anderson (7.34) averaged more Yards Per Attempt than Bradshaw (7.17). Anderson (32,838) threw for more yards than Bradshaw (27,989). Anderson (171) averaged more Yards Per Game than Bradshaw (167). Anderson (1.23) had a better TD/INT Ratio than Bradshaw (1.01). Anderson (3.58%) had a better INT % than Bradshaw (5.38). And all of that despite the fact that Anderson (8.0%/2.19 Per Game) was sacked more than Bradshaw (7.3%/1.84 Per Game).... ...and Anderson had far less help from Hall of Fame teammates & coaching: Anderson had 3 HOF teammates (Riley, Joiner & Munoz) that played with him for a combined 21 seasons, while Bradshaw had 8 HOF teammates (Greene, Ham, Blount, Harris, Lambert, Webster, Swann & Stallworth) that played with him for a combined 84 seasons. Bradshaw benefited from having a Hall of Fame Head Coach for all 13 of his seasons. Anderson had a Hall of Fame coach for 4 seasons. Bradshaw benefited from a defense that finished as a Top-5 Scoring Defense 6 times. Anderson had the benefit of a Top-5 Scoring Defense only once, 1972, his first season as starting QB. In the 6 seasons when Bradshaw guided the Steelers to post-season wins, the Steelers had on average the #3 Scoring Defense and the #4 Rush Offense in the NFL. In the 7 seasons when Bradshaw either failed to win a playoff game or simply didn't make the playoffs, the Steelers had on average the #13 Scoring Defense and the #10 Rush Offense. In other words, with elite defensive and elite rushing support "Bradshaw won" playoff games and Super Bowls. But when he only had just slightly above-average defensive and rushing support, Bradshaw didn't win anything. For his entire career, Anderson had on average the #12 Scoring Defense (1 Top-5) and #14 Rush Offense (zero Top-5). He guided the Bengals to the Super Bowl with the #12 Scoring Defense and the #17 Rush Offense. Anderson never had the elite defensive & rushing support that Bradshaw enjoyed. Football is a team sport. Winning Super Bowls is a team accomplishment. Bradshaw played on much better teams. That's why he has 4 Super Bowl rings. But Anderson was a much better quarterback. And it isn't even close.

@@dantheman5745 Bradshaw has better individual accomplishments and better team accomplishments.bradshaw was a better QB who excelled in big games.Anderson was great too but I think Bradshaw was better more athletic and more mobile.

@@MichaelMike-mu3fw Better individual accomplishments? Like what? And when it came to "big games", in post-season play (doesn't get much bigger than that): * Anderson had a higher completion % (66.27% to 57.24%) * Anderson had a better QPR (93.5 to 83.0) * Anderson had a better TD/INT Ratio (1.50 to 1.15) * Anderson had a lower INT % (3.61 to 5.70) Anderson simply didn't have as many post-season opportunities as Bradshaw. That's because Bradshaw's TEAM was better than Anderson's TEAM. That's why when you see the standings for each season, they list "Pittsburgh" and not "Bradshaw" in the AFC Central standings. As for Bradshaw being more athletic and more mobile: Bradshaw rushed for 2,257 yards in his career. Anderson rushed for 2,220 yards in his career. Bradshaw averaged 5.1 YPC. Anderson averaged 5.6 YPC. Anderson was just as athletic and just as mobile as Bradshaw. If you put Ken Anderson on those Steelers teams from the 70s, they may have won 7 or 8 Super Bowls.
