They already made or at least planned the movie when they made this, which are also based off the book, which I'm telling you, had a better story than the movie. They really botched the plot to make it more "wholesome" and kid friendly I think (even though the original book was already a children's book, but there were some swearing, actual weapons, implied deaths and the protagonist actively trying to be killed multiple times, so, eh). 6 to 7/10 movie for me. Not terrible. The soundtrack for this movie is surprisingly good tho.
