Had to pause the video to comment. Your summary of the trip where you said 'we even broke up once', just hit home so much. We had a long haul trip my fiancé and I, we had just moved in together and on that trip (which was a BLAST!) we actually had one HUGE fight that made us just like, not want to be in the same room as each other and wanting to just break up. I am DELIGHTED to see you share your life in this way, you're so like REAL and honest! All couples have this, but no one ever talks about it. I was like, feeling absolute girlfriend realness when you said that. So happy you guys had such a great trip, you seem so good for each other 💕

+Bea J yea traveling really tests your relationship, you're together doing things 24 hours, your super tired, your learning about each other through family (in this case), there's things that he wants to do that you don't and vice versa.. it's sometimes even harder than living together in my opinion. I just wanted to mention it briefly Bc our relationship isn't perfect! ❤

I learned that every long lasting relationship isn't perfect, it's just both people both making an effort to mend the relationship after a disagreement, and come to a mutual agreement. Kinda like a "relationship duct-tape" moment.

Totally understandable. The first long trip I went on with my boyfriend, we almost killed each other. We got through it, but it can be very testing on your relationship. Having no time apart is really difficult.

I went on a month long holiday with my best friend and boyfriend and it was definitely a test of our relationship and friendship! it makes you slightly insane being around people 24 hours a day! with three people there was even more "I want to do this!" "but I want to do this!!" going on haha. We survived with a few little arguements but overall it was an amazing experience.

I roll all my clothes when traveling, I had my bag searched because it was a small bag of only clothes but weighed a lot because it was all rolled, they unrolled everything and couldn't get it all back in haha

I just moved houses and packed every single article of clothing I own into one suitcase by rolling everything. Including pajamas! It's definitely the way to go. When folded, the stacks of clothes absolutely covered the bed.

Katy m yeah, at the time I was a little annoyed/worried because I almost missed my 10 hour flight but remembering their faces when they realize it really was just clothes and them trying to figure out how to get it all back in there was priceless haha

I feel like every relationship has a break up or fights when you go on a big long trip. It's hard to be away from your home and constantly around someone, whereas even while living together at home you can be apart during work hours or while running errands. You two are a great example of how a real relationship works and it is awesome you are so open to sharing even the difficult times you two encounters on your adventures. I love how honest and relatable you are Tay!

I love flying too! I mean I hate the air pressure and stuff but like...you get 2 or more hours where you literally don't have to do anything...because you really can't. I love watching movies and reading during those times without feeling guilty XD

I used to fold my clothes then i went backpacking for a year and found out that rolling takes less space! I had a double check moment when you said "we actually broke up once" 😭 i'm happy you and Elbow-san are back to a happy place 💖 good luck with all the cleaning, Rosie will be back soon too, yay!! 😚

awww thanks for being so honest. I missed your vlogs. I was saving this one in case you weren't vlogging right away. my husband and I have been together since high school and we have our ups and downs, it's natural! when couples don't argue or disagree with one another that's unnatural. we're humans with opinions and feelings, we should disagree on things. glad you made it back to Tokyo 💕

I love flying too!! haha I've traveled with so many different ways (big groups, small groups, complete strangers, family, friends and also alone) and I think my fave ways are alone and also with a friend who likes to do the same things I like doing when I travel, that way there is little chance of us being upset by the compromises and nobody feels like they are missing out. Thanks for always sharing so much with us Taylor!

*My favorite travel experience in 2016 was Copenhagen, my sister and I stayed on a houseboat. And all the people we met were so nice and helpful. The monument was removed like 3 years ago? I think? Union and Flatiron art displays change quite frequently....they normally only stay for a few weeks to maybe 3 months max(?), though I think the Andy Monument stayed there for a year before it was removed.

Yes! I always roll clothes when packing, too! Especially now that I have two kids and I don't want to carry too many luggage so I always roll their clothes. Totally space-saving.

I wonder if you would be willing, and if your boyfriend would approve, of sharing your experience of traveling with your partner. Like issues you came across and how you got through it. Tips on what helped and all that. I feel like it's common for couples to get overwhelmed and endanger their relationship. My first trip with my partner was similar to what you briefly described. I loved seeing your trip!!!
